Not that it's really any of my business but I hear Meltzer is LOADED from the Observer. When you think about it, he's got thousands of subscribers at like $3 an issue. Let's be conservative and say he's got 5,000 subscribers. That's $15,000 in revenue each week and the only overhead he has is ink, paper and postage. We'll be SUPER conservative again and say that he banks a mere 2k of those revenues per issue, if you multiply that by 52 issues per year Meltz is bringing in over 100k per year. He's been writing the Observer since 1982 (although I think he wrote some other newsletter things earlier), so I can only imagine the bank he's got.
