Big Show as champ wouldn't be that good. Hey, look, I've always been a Big Show mark, but I don't think they should give him the title.

They should turn Brock heel first, then let Big Show go babyface.

I agree. Show's character now is probably more worthy of the title than every before. They've booked him right and he's kept up his end of the deal. If they really want to extend the Brock/Angle rivalry until Wrestlemania 20, which they damn well should, giving Show the title would make that much easier.

Have Show pin Angle after Brock accidentally nails Angle. So Angle is pissed at Lesnar for nailing him and Lesnar is pissed at Angle for costing him his title. But they're both still pissed at Show for having the title. Now, whoever wins the US Title (let's hope Eddie, though either will work) is the new #1 contender. But Brock rightfully claims that he was never pinned for the title, so he should be #1 contender.

Have Brock vs. Eddie where Eddie wins thanks to Angle costing Brock the match. Next week, put that illogical WWE booking to use and have Angle vs. Eddie for the #1 contendership. Same thing, Brock screws Angle out of the match. Then you can do a 3-way between Eddie, Angle & Brock for the US title at Summerslam and this time have Eddie get the win when Angle nails Brock.

At No Mercy, have the US champion (hopefully still Eddie, let the title build some prestige) get his rightful shot at the WWE champion and maybe put Brock & Angle into a tag situation. Putting them on the same team against still nemesis Haas & Benjamin might be good. At Survivor Series, do some gimmick that prevents a one-on-one match between the two. (Hey, maybe a Survivor Series match! Yeah, right.)

Let Brock win the Royal Rumble and throw it repeatedly in Angle's face that he's getting the return match at Wrestlemania finally. Then have Angle fire back by winning the title from Big Show at No Way Out. You then have Angle vs. Lesnar for the world title at Wrestlemania 20. Not that anybody is going to read this, I can't even remember what this thread was about...

I am also officially declaring myself a Big Show supporter. He's really turned it up a few notches, I really enjoy seeing him and Brock and Angle beat the shit out of each other.

Plus, his theme song kicks ASS.

Agreed, Big Show just rules. I honestly wouldn't mind him holding the title at this point, it'd be entertaining

Is it so much that big show improved or did somebody just light a fire under his ass? Yes, he has been more impressive in recent months, I'm not to the point where I'm ready to give him the title, but I will give him credit, and we all know that means sooo much more.

Give some credit to Brock Lesner to, Big Show working with a guy that large and that physical really compliments his style. As opposed to working with slow slugs like Undertaker and Kane, as he has for the majority of his WWF run.

Have Show pin Angle after Brock accidentally nails Angle.

I wouldn't go for this for a couple reasons:

1 - It was the EXACT same finish as last year's Vengeance Main Event....

2 - Quite frankly, as goopy as everyone gets for Angle vs. Brock - I'd LOVE to see Show vs. Lesnar continue.

Have they had ONE match in their series that was not greatly entertaining? For whatever reason, Show and Lesnar CLICK! And the way Big Show's been booked, he's starting to look like the only guy in the company who's got Lesnar's number. He can get his ass kicked all night long by The Next Big Thing, but we all know that one Chokeslam and the match is over.

I have NEVER seen an angle booked where a guy is virtually unstoppable EXCEPT when facing one specific opponent. They can go for that. It doesn't particularly matter that some other people are more than capable of beating Big Show - in fact, I think that part should be embraced. WHY is it that no matter what Brock does, he can't beat Show - while a guy like Benoit has made him tap out in the past?

I'm just thrilled to see the WWF giving Show some love after years of sitting him on the burial ground.

I can point out about 300 'Unstoppable 80's Heel' / Hogan matches if you want.

Anyways, I'd also like to see Big Show with the belt. I mean, it's not like it's the Championship belt from years ago, where holding it meant you had to be the biggest draw in the company. It's just half of that, and all that either the Raw or Smackdown champion have to do is keep the title fresh for when the next guy gets it, and I think the way they've been booking him for the past few months, he could certainly do that.

BIG SHOW has to be doing something right.
the man is getting accolades on the net.
thats a lot for a big man like him.
anyways, Smackdown is doing something right with him.
cena and guerrero also are getting crazy better.
seems as if the brand extension is starting to create some new superstars.

Big Show's great, blah blah blah ....

Now can someone explain to me why he's always drooling and spitting like he just came from the dentist?

I mean, every time he opens his mouth he's dribbling all over himself. Then when he starts talking, he's spraying the first three rows with gobs of crap. What gives?

I don't think Big Show has improved at all or deserves the title. The ones who have improved are Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle :-) who are the guys that make the Big Show look like he doesn't suck.

It's really hard to say that Big Show has actually improved. I'd be more inclined that the WWE has improved their booking of him. Consider that his last many matches have been in tagteam situations, which takes a great deal of the burden off of him to maintain audience interest in a match.

Count me among those impressed with the booking of the Lesnar/Show feud. SD! as a whole has had smarter longterm booking of the uppercard in terms of giving a lasting interest to the dynamic between people. Hogan's departure and Taker's drop to the midcard play no small part in this methinks.

I'd also chalk this more up to Big Show booking than Big Show working. He and Lesnar have great chemistry, that's for sure, and the way Show's been booked since going over to smackdown has been the way this man should have been booked from the beginning.

He is definitely growing on me, though. I look forward to his end-of-smackdown-roar every week.

I just hope he has a chance with the title.
last time he beat Lesnar nobody gave him a chance as champ.
This time he would seem legitimate.

Show vs Lesnar has been done so many times that having another match between the two at WrestleMania XX is pretty redundant. I mean, it's cool to see Lesnar throw the Big Show around like a rag doll and stuff, but there are other things out there in WWE, especially on SMACKDOWN!.

It's been almost a year since their first Survivor Series match. They had a great match at May's PPV. But, great matches and chemistry between workers only goes so far. It's been done. And done again.

I really don't see where else this thing can go. Let's move Lesnar on to Angle or, hell, even Vince. Something new.

Its amazing but since he was traded from RAW the WWE finaly got how to book Big Show right. He has been doing his job very well and is showing his talent. Thus far hes the MVP of the brand extention in my mind.

In a "perfect" world, this is how I would see it....

Big Show does win the title at Vengeance.... Brock and Angle have tension, and one ends up costing the other the match.

Eddie wins the US Title in a classic that puts Benoit over at the same time.. have him lose by Eddie's cheating...

And of course, World's Greatest Tag Team beats Rey & Kidman...

Which sets up Big Show vs. Benoit(at which point Benoit could win the title, give him a transitional reign to appease us :), or they could keep it on Big Show for Show vs. Angle sometime down the line(October or Survivor Series).. which Angle wins, and then Brock turns heel on him out of frustration, which leads to the rematch at WMXX.

I like the idea of Benoit beating Big Show for the title. He can get a good match out of Show, an astounding match out of Angle and a fresh one with a lot of potential with Lesnar. He can definitely hang with those guys.

I don't think Show deserves the title, but he's been built up enough that it wouldn't be a completely out of place title run. In the story line, it would be a good way to introduce a fourth man into the main event scene.

Wow...more Big Show love...

But seriously, Kurt should get the title. If they want to keep Paul strong, I'm all for that, but let Kurt shine for a while.

My one pet peeve with the Big Show is his music. Somebody call P-Diddy, because the man needs a remix...
