| #1 Posted on 18.7.03 1707.20 Reposted on: 18.7.10 1708.03 | Lately, a station that's been pretty good has been WMRQ (Radio 104) from Conneticut. The reason why they've been good is that they've been playing a lot of 90's songs. Not just the classics, obscure songs like "Automatic" by K's Choice get their due.
I like a station that does that. Promote this thread! | | Chico Santana

I don't listen anymore because they were playing to many crappy bands who try to pull off that punk image(when they are sucky pop bands). And they dropped Dee, them bastards! Every time I went too wrestling in Hartford, Dee Snider would always show up with seats near ring side, and most fans would start a Dee chant. | j9479

i do like the inclusion of indie rock into the system, but isn;t it very weird that they play the Toadies "possum kingdom" like once an hour?
but, a chance play of nada surf's "popular" is well worth the 28 "possum kingdom" plays.

Whaaaa? Since when have they started playing decent music? Must not have been on my watch...
(Disclaimer: The only song I've heard on Radio 104 in the past few months was Deftones's "Minerva". Is good, but thass it.) | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
