OK, so I guess they're supposed to be ambiguously gay . . . but is this supposed to be funny? Is this supposed to make them heels? Is this angle going somewhere, or is this just a gimmick that will magically disappear? Promote this thread! | | Eradicator

Sorry if this question has been asked before . . . I just reached my breaking point last night during Smackdown and just had to know if anyone was finding it entertaining. | Notorious F.A.B.

I still retain that in the beginning the WWF was probably just headed for a "Dude, Where's My Car" vibe with a few gay jokes put in. Once the gay thing took off, they've ran with that. That's just how it works.

They are doing the angle, but holding back just enough that people don't think they are actually gay. The thing about Lodi and Lenny was that they went all out with it. It was so funny and crass that it caught on. B&C will never go to that level. That is the problem that makes the characters not work to it's fullest extent. | Scar

I like it because they're going slow before they go all out and it gets boring. | MarchOfThePigs

Seriously though, Chuck and Billy get about as much discussion on here as the nWo does, so the WWF must be doing something right with C&B. | CHUBBYLOVE

Seriously though, I've never quite understood why people like Billy Gunn so much. Everytime I see him at house shows or dark matches he get HUGE pops. It's just kinda weird because he's not that great of a wrestler or entertainer. However, I have to admit that I bought an "Ass Man' shirt back in the day. It was just for comedy purposes, really! | Raptor

Of course, now that he's a heel, that's out the window. | WTF13

| #11 Posted on 16.2.02 1427.48 Reposted on: 16.2.09 1429.01 | They amuse me. The posedown was what sold me on the angle--it worked for me because they found a way to get the gimmick over in the ring. I thought it was great. So from a wrestling standpoint, I think they're better than Lenny and Lodi because those guys never really did their gimmick outside of television segments, as far as I can remember. I could be wrong, though.
Also, Chuck and Billy's physiques fit the stereotype a lot better.

I can't speak for Billy, but I think I've at least figured out the deal with Chuck.
Moppy was reincarnated and is now living a new existence on Chuck's head!
