This event, of course, would only work in Canada. Having said that and knowing the atrocity that is NHL coverage in the States...I'm hoping that even ESPN can see that this game should be televised here in the States.

If it all comes off as expected with 50,000 some fans attending, it's gonna be quite the spectacle.

If the NHL can get some outdoor games in, even if it's in East German Snot, Saskatchewan, it'll be great for attendance and ratings, just to spice things up. Of course, it's mroe likely that the ice will melt, or that it'll snow, or that something else simply awful will happen.
