This article says a lot of the things I was trying to express in an earlier thread, only better than I was able to. Some thoughts on the role this could play in the American economy that I'm sure some folks here will love to tear into.

Not saying I support this trend, but isn't this exactly what capitalism is all about? Maximizing profit?

We've seen this trend in clothing and shoe manufacturing, rust belt work and now this. I can't say that I'm surprised.
