---The songwriting team behind I Swear and other awesome ballads released a country CD that had a great sound to it, but never caught on with the public due to lackluster radio airplay.
(2) KISS -- Revenge
---What more can we say about the greatest band in the world? They lost the paint and gained the attitudes. Rocking!
(3) ROXETTE -- Greatest Hits
---I have a soft spot of 80s pop and rock, and this CD has a lot of great hits that are very much worth listening to.

On the same level GnR's Appetite for Destruction is a top to bottom classic, as is Def Leppards Hysteria and Whitesnake's self titled album. (if you are over 30, you know you had at least one copy of each)
If I am in a pissed off mood, AND JUSTICE FOR ALL by Metalica is the thing to listen to.
But then again, to quote south park, DISENTIGRATION IS THE BEST ALBUM EVER! If you are into the new wave/synth pop stuff, this is the truest statement I could make.
But, as far as the Beatles go, how anybody can forget RUBBER SOUL is beyond me. ALthough it includes the worst Beatles song EVER (drive my car) it is solid top to bottom and just absolutely ROCKS.
HOLY CRAP, I almost forgot any Prince from Dirty Mind Through Diamonds and Pearls is classic. (except maybe the batman music). Prince is God BTW, not Clapton.

Not that it really has much to do with anything being discussed here, but "Got My Mind Set on You" was written by Rudy Clark, not George Harrison. See, back in the early 1960's an artist by the name of James Ray had a top forty hit with the song "If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody." The Beatles, in their pre - "I Want To Hold Your Hand" - days made "If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody" a part of their stage act. One day in 1963, George Harrison, while visiting his sister in the U.S., purchased the James Ray album that included the song "If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody." Included on the album were three compositions by Rudy Clark, a former mailman who had discovered James Ray. One of those compositions was "Got My Mind Set on You Part One/Part Two" - although there was no break in the song. Two-and-a-half decades later Harrison updated the song, recorded it, and took it to Number One on January 16, 1988.
