Thanks mostly to what's left of my tax refund, I now own a tabloid size scanner ohhhhhh yeah. (Don't worry, I didn't pay list) It's an Epson Expression 836XL running on my trusty G3 desktop, but the most important thing you need to know is I can FINALLY scan an ENTIRE square foot of album cover IN ONE GO!

To officially christen it, I've chosen to do a rescan of one of the albums I actually did in several parts on the old scanner and then painstakingly pieced together. This one took all of about thirty seconds with el PhotoShop. To encourage myself to actually get into regularly scanning everything I own - something I've been meaning to do ever since I started the KZiM subsite over six (!) years ago - I'm going to put some graphics up here. It will surely not spark discussion unless I pick certain items, but we'll see if I troll that way or not. (Suggestions can certainly be PM'd or emailed to me - the records are the ones that aren't marked with an asterisk)

With all that out of the way - HERE IT IS!

I was thinking Eric Bogosian meets Tron.
