Okay, I'm an idiot.

This Christmas, my daughters acquired the entire earth.

Anyway, the count was:

3 official Barbies- one being the brilliant self spraying umbrella Barbie- perfect for ruining those pesky TV sets and CD players.
1 Sugarplum Princess Barbie with action hips.
2 Kari dolls, Barbie's art-chick friend.
1 Giant Barbie head.
1 Barbie make-up book with built-in make-up kit.
1 Kelly Mermaid adventure kit (Even MESSIER than the Umbrella Barbie! YES!)

Overall, it was great Christmas. What did y'alls kids get?

DEAN.

As you can see from my personal picture, my beautiful daughter was given the gift of being born for Christmas, then being dragged to the relatives' houses.

DEAN - Gabi entered the world of Barbie this year with the Psychedlic Barbie and the Palm Beach Barbie. My niece got here this little pink carrying case to cart them around in too.

As for the boys, it was Scooby-Doosville for one and Thomas the Tank Engine out the ass for the other.

Man, there are toys all over this freakin' house.

BArbieMania filled the DrOp Household as well. To wit, my daughter got:

Cool School Barbie
Kelly's RollerCoaster playground
4 Kelly Club Dolls
Starlight Fairie Barbie
Nutcracker Barbie
Nutcracker Ken
Marzipan and the Candy Sleigh
The Barbie Nutcracker movie
Barbie Magic KeyHouse
Barbie Jam and Glam Tour Bus

UGH. I think I have an entire civilization in the kids' toyroom now.

I only know that I can change; everything else just stays the same.

Oh man! I'm glad you reminded me. My oldest got the comically named Nutcracker Ken also with the swivel-hipped Sugarplum Princess Barbie. My mom got ME the incredibly weird and terrifying Dallas Cowboy Nutcracker. My youngest ripped the arms off of that one immediately.

Giant Barbie head? What the hell? For some reason, I'm picturing Pac-Man, but with a Barbie face on it.

My sister (31) got the latest Mackie Barbie and the Holiday Barbie...expensive toys indeed. YOWZA. At least I got my PS2 to entertain me instead of stupid dolls...
