I dislike Z. Z is a pain in the ass.
I don't play a lot of fighting games, to be honest. My wife and I play Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast, but that's about it. We'll probably pick up Soul Calibur II for the Game Cube as well, but I don't expect to play it all that much. I could probably get away with renting it, actually. | Battlezone

| #22 Posted on 13.6.03 1652.39 Reposted on: 13.6.10 1656.32 | Thanks for all of the advice, guys. I wound up going with the GameCube. I figured, the only game on PS2 that I *really* wanted to play was Vice City, but that's on PC now, so I'll just pick it up for that.
For the record, my 200 bucks got me:
GameCube Platinum Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker Metroid Prime (Used) Memory Card NFL 2K3 (Free) GameGube Preview Disc (Free)
AND, since I bought a system, game and accessory, I'm getting a $30 rebate as well. Plus free shipping.

You rocked it like a boogie-woogie choo-choo train, my brother. For the record, I bought a Gamecube first, beat Metroid and Zelda, wept for there were no more worlds left to conquer, then bought a PS2 with Metal Gear Solid 2 and Final Fantasy Origins. Ahhh...Metal Gear. It does a body good to hear Snake say "Kerrrrnal." | astrobstrd

That is quite the deal. Have fun with your new system. Play lots of Monkey Ball (and Monkey Ball 2). | Alessandro
