You know, it's actually a pretty decent list.

The only quibble I have is "Lose Yourself" being so high up.

Sure are some head scratchers in there...

How does Nelly get a Top 100 song? That one needs to be explained to me!

Agreed with most of those. Although Madonna's "Ray Of Light" deserves to be buried and burned forever on account of being the most obnoxious song ever.

And "Creep" should've been in the top 10.

How can you have all those 80s new wave songs and NOT have "(I Just) Died in Your Arms Tonight"

I don't think it's too bad of a list, though one could niggle with the location of some of the songs.

But the Backstreet Boys?!?!?

I might get a lot of criticism for this, but I find that "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is one of the worst songs Nirvana ever made. I couldn't stand it before it became so huge either. Same for when "Winds of Change" came out by the Scorpions.

I don't disagree with the list at all, but man what a steaming pile of crap.

No wonder my FM radio presets are all at 89.1.

No, it's the factory default. As in, I never programmed them to a station in the first place.

And you'd think a place like Parts Unknown would have at least one decent radio station. ;)

Wow....U2, the biggest band in the past 25 years, gets only TWO songs?? They're both in the top 21, at least, but it's still pretty weak.

Paradise by the Dashboard light should be somewhere close to the top 10. That song was huge! (So is Meat Loaf hehe)

How can you not have "How Soon is Now?" from the Smiths on this list. One or THE most powerful song ever. An alt. radio station had one of these rundowns and it came in at #2 just behind Teen Spirit (of course). I do think Teen Spirit is a very overrated song and not even Nirvana's best work if you ask me.

"Hot in Herre" being ranked just ahead of "Tempted" and "Jack and Diane" just makes me feel sad. (and old)

Teen Spirit is a better song the louder you play it. That is a song to play in your room at full blast to bother your parents. “Winds of Change” was a really good song – (hear the whistling in the wind). The Scorpions “Time Will Call Your Name” was still their best.

I only agree with a few picks on this list. Oasis, Tracy Chapman, Goo Goo Dolls, Journey, and Bon Jovi. Queen got screwed. Lots of rap songs, I could live without.

Wasn’t Meatloaf over 25 years ago? I thought that one came out before I was born along with the better “2 out of 3 ain’t bad.”

Meat Loaf f'n ROCKS. "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" and "2 Outta 3 Ain't Bad" are classics off of Bat Out of Hell, but the title track=Best. Biker Song. EVER.

And his 1994 re-collaboration with Jim Steinman, Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell is equally as awesome, featuring Meat doing some of the songs Steinman wrote a long time ago, and did (horribly) on his own album, Bad for Good. I may never get the image of a leather-jacket-and-full-fingered-glove-clothed Steinman singing "I'm a lover, not a dancer" while banging away at the piano.

But putting him back with Meat=GOLD, baby. "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)," "Life is a Lemon and I Want My Money Back," "Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Be Closer Than They Are," "It Just Won't Quit," and "Wasted Youth?" F'n incredible.

"Bat Out Of Hell" actually came out in 1977, so why would that be on the list? I mean, to get technical about it.

"Relax" was a glaring omission. "Cult of Personality" and "Plush" also. And no Rick Astley? Oh, the humanity!

Any list with Notorious BIG rated higher than The Who is flawed, very, VERY flawed.

Also, NO BILLY JOEL? WTF?
