Someone watches Raw, but still goes to read recaps on the net. Fine. I completely understand that...thats what I did with CRZ'z stuff back when.
But why would someone purposely read a recap by someone they don't enjoy? Simply to try to find errors? Why would someone waste their time like that? | JST

Once in a great while, they surprise you and write a half-way decent recap. Mostly though Scooters recaps are good for some comedy. The unintentional variety that is. | Matt Tracker

| #12 Posted on 12.6.03 2142.38 Reposted on: 12.6.10 2150.09 | ...and in further proof of BOS's reasoning behind why People Still Read Keith Recaps:
As Seen in Tonight's SmarKdown (tm, probably) Recap Interestingly, the Bad Blood PPV wasn’t so much as mentioned on this show, which is gonna make for an interesting buyrate given the last-minute nature of the hype for most of their PPVs as of late.
Let's review.
- Who's putting on Bad Blood? Raw
- What show was on tonight? Smackdown
- Why would Smackdown advertise a Raw PPV?
Feel free to punch in the answer to that last one yourself.
(And at this point, I read his recaps for some good laughs at his expense. I'm trying to figure out when he turned into self-parody.) | Underwater

Actually, I think Keith is right about this one. Would it have killed them to have Cole and Tazz turn it over to JR and King to do their little hype spiel, maybe with the excuse being that Stone Cold bought some time on Smackdown, like when there was that hilarious Bischoff Subway commercial? Brand split or not, it's bad business to not hype the PPV. | rockstar

At one point, there were Smackdown house show commercials, too, which were stated as having been paid for by the Raw brand. There's absolutely no reason not to plug Badd Blood on SD. | Captain_12_Pack

| #18 Posted on 13.6.03 0147.15 Reposted on: 13.6.10 0148.51 | I'm probably overanalyzing this about as much into this as people used to overanalyze the Ross Report, but during SK's recap of the Taker-Stamboli match, he says Taker gets tossed out into a 2-on-1, and says, "If you can’t figure out how that ends, you have no business reading this report." Is that as much a shot at everyone who complained about his lack of recapping the Christian/Booker T segment on Raw as much as it is a complaint about the predictability of WWE booking?
SK is like the Fox News of the IWC. He's quite biased and sometimes his facts aren't one hundred percent right, but so long as you know that going in you can be rather entertained by him regardless of whether or not you agree with him. | Net Hack Slasher

| #19 Posted on 13.6.03 0153.06 Reposted on: 13.6.10 0153.20 | I too was kind of surprised they didn't do the JR & The King in the Stanford studies type of thing they did last time. I was kind of expecting a run down for the PPV (mostly waiting for a word on if there's a women match being added to the PPV or Heat).
I haven't really noticed recently, but not too long ago SD had Raws tour calendar on their show and vise versa. But honestly, I think the have stopped doing that (I could be wrong)... Cap12 is right they did have two PPV promo/ads one showing Y2J/Goldberg and the other for the HITC with Foley being hyped a lot. But that's still just a 30 second commercial.
But people were asking for a harder split, which looks like their doing. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
