| #1 Posted on 7.6.03 1643.19 Reposted on: 7.6.10 1645.42 | So I was going to go order the Wrestlecrap book and I saw the sales ranking for it. #224! And this book isn't even scheduled for release until October.
By comparison:
Tietam Brown by Mick Foley (7/6) - #7,789 Lita autobiography (8/19) - #79,397 The Legends of Wrestling: "Classy" Freddie Blassie (released) - #201
So, in short, this looks like good news for fans of bad wrestling (or at least READING about it.) | Promote this thread! | | Wolfram J. Paulovich

I'm worried that there won't be a whole lot of new content. So I'm really hoping that I read some great reviews from some of you guys, since I've always been an RD fan. | CANADIAN BULLDOG

I can't imagine that the book wouldn't be completely different than the site, based on what RD has said in the past. Sounds like he'll talk about some of the same gimmicks, etc., but in an extended format. Plus, there are supposed to be interviews from some of the `hall of famers' and a foreword by John Tenta (that in itself is enough reason for me to buy the book)...
Besides, could you imagine if someone on the Net put out a book that was just a cut and paste of his previous work??? | asteroidboy

Plus, RD seems like a geuinely nice guy, not some lazy smark who hits on the porno store clerk. | The Great Thomas

| #5 Posted on 10.6.03 1534.55 Reposted on: 10.6.10 1535.52 | I'm pre-ordering it from Amazon.com. Why not? I like Wrestlecrap, I got 18 bucks to burn, and according to RD himself:
From Wrestlecrap.com: The more pre-orders it gets, the more likely the publisher will be to do a follow up book, which is something that is being strongly considered right now.
And I'm already desperate for a second Wrestlecrap fix. | Oliver
