What would be the best (of the options) to sell some PS2 games? I've got EBgames, Funcoland/Gamestop, and BreSoftware (local). I realize I'll be getting more or less hosed at any of the three, I'm just curious as to where you all have had better experiences.

It depends on what you're after...store credit or actual cash. The rates vary on both, and larger stores will give way more credit than cash. Every store tends to give more credit than money for obvious reasons.

I've always used EB and Hastings for my video game trade-ins. Hastings runs a nice deal where you can trade in any 3 games (no matter how old) and get a brand new one free of charge.

I'd like to get cash, but I've got half a mind to take it ALL in and get a Gamecube.

Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever trade games in at FuncoLand/GameStop. When you say "hosed," you have no idea how hosed you will be. You will walk funny for days and your friends will mock you.

It's hard not to get rip off. I know where I live it's like that anywhere I go to sell my games so I just trade and get what I want.

use e-bay. You may actually MAKE money, because people for some odd reason, will pay near new prices for used semi-new games.

How much do you think I could realistically expect to get for THPS 4, Madden 03, Tiger Woods 03, Tribes: Aerial Assault, Star Wars Jedi Star Fighter, and GTA: VC, the system itself, a sony memory card, and the network adapter? All are in very good to near-new condition, with the possible exception of Jedi ( I bought that used at ballbuster, no BB labels on the disc though).

I would shop on Ebay and see what they are getting online. At least check that out before you go to a store. See what the store offers, but don't take the first offer.

I'm guessing you will do much better on Ebay. Most of those games will go around $20. I have no idea what the system goes for used - but it probably is less than you'll want to take.
