I'm really surprised that so many people liked this segment. This was about as good as having Kiss perform the main event on Nitro. They wasted a WHOLE SHOW so Triple H and Steph could break up. We all watched a wrestling show so a couple could break up. You guys are okay with that? Not only was that bad for a wrestling program that was just bad t.v. in general.

Remember you are watching WWF Sports Entertainment.. They don't bring wrestling on your tv when you want it most.
This wasn't much different than a rock vs austin singalong contest. The difference is, something might come out of this!! New angles can be started..the whole HHH vs Steph/Vince angle which can be used to bring in new people, bring in the nWo and give HHH that huge face push he is going to get.
I can see her managing Test..actually I would love it. Test could use his immunity to kick Hunter' ass all over the place (No need to reply with would H allow that, thats not the point here..) And after no Way out they can still have Steph manage 4-8 guys in the month leading up to WM to destroy Hunter.. Only they fail and only Jericho who does the occasional run in is left for her to turn to..
The wedding might have sucked, the possible angles leading out of it could be interesting!

Originally posted by ges7184It could of been worse. Well, this 20 minute segment couldn't have been much worse. But this angle could have dragged out for weeks and weeks of crappy 20 minute segments, so let's just be glad it was wrapped up in one week.
I'll probably get shot down for saying this, but I think it's awfully questionable that from start to finish, this split basically lasted about a month (from Steph's initial "I point and Triple H destroys" speech to Monday night). Even on-screen marriages end slower than that! I really wanted to see Stephanie working Triple H on the whole pregnancy thing, pretending she was sick or whatever to be at his beck-and-call, and then maybe throwing in the deception later on that H isn't the father. Sure, Steph's a shitty actress, but it might have been an interesting diversion along the lines of Stone Cold and Kurt Angle's backstage skits last summer.
Pulling the plug on the marriage this quickly (I think) was a bad idea, and if they had started earlier (say around Vengeance when everyone expected H to show up anyway) or waited until after Wrestlemania, I might have cared enough about it because I invested enough time in it to see a payoff. As it is, this storyline is simply another of the Fed's flavors of the week.
