I've also seen Vader in a recurring cameo role on "Boy Meets World". Can anyone else remember any wrestlers in cameos? That show about the guy masquerading as a wrestler while he taught elementary school doesn't count.
Oh, and I seem to remember Demolition doing a Pizza Hut commercial when I was younger.
I'm talking TV not movies like Mummy 2, The Waterboy, The Highlander or Spiderman

| #13 Posted on 14.5.03 0546.57 Reposted on: 14.5.10 0547.34 | Ha! Learning The Ropes was one of the best (read: worst) television shows ever -- any shock it was affiliated with WCW? Well, actually, NWA back then, but nonetheless... The premise that Lyle Alzado was a high school teacher turned wrestler at night (a masked jobber that always managed to show up on NWA television), and he had to keep his identity concealed or else he'd be fired by his employer. Strangely similar to the Mr. America angle, only more believeable. I remember seeing Ric Flair, the Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes, Ivan Koloff, Dick Murdoch, Ronnie Garvin among others on the show. That's practically half the current WWE roster. You almost wonder if Vinces McMahon and Russo are watching reruns of this show and getting ideas. | XPacArmy

Early Edition aired on CBS and stared Gary Hobson, played by Kyle Chandler. He owned like a family friendly bar and he lived upstairs and he would get tomorrow's newspaper today. So he would spend his day reading about bad things that would happen that day (since it was tomorrow's paper reporting about that day) and try to figure out a way to stop them.
And didn't VH1 at one time have a tv show called The List or something? The 5 guest would make a list of the best songs, artist, or whatever. And didn't some WCW stars appear one time. I know Kevin Nash and Disco Inferno were 2 of them.

New Jack than accussed Tommy of a bunch of stuff, including drinking tea, to which Tommy yelled "I don't drink tea!" Maybe a brawl started then, however. I recall hearing about them doing their own stunts. Also in that episode, a guy is taking a bath while his television is on, and tuned to ECW on TNN. You can hear Joey Styles calling a Chris Chetti match.

Learning the Ropes will always be worth a chuckle from me for a couple of reasons. The first being that Nicole "Stephanie Kaye" Stoffman left Degrassi Junior High thinking that this would boost her career, and the fact that one of the CITY-TV newsreaders was in that show (but for some reason the station bio doesn't mention it).
