But he does something a little annoying. He talks during his matches. He talks LOUD during his matches.
I remember one match when match with the Dudleys and Booker vs. Edge, Christian and Chris Jericho. Buh-Buh has Edge in the corner:
"Eat this, pretty boy!" *chop* "Stephanie wants you dead!!!" *right* "Stephanie said to kill you!!!" *clubbing forearm*
And more recently on Smackdown, Regal tags out to him while he's holding Edge:
"Hold him open! Hold him open! Eat this, pretty boy!" *right* "GET UP!!!!"
Later on....
"Look at Edge!!!! Look at him!!!" *right and elbows* Then he yelled something to RVD while pointing to himself.
OK - I know there are other guys who do that (Jericho, UT, Tazz, Albert) - but Buh-Buh seems to be the one who does it more than anyone else.

It is probably a result of being in ECW where he constantly pissed oof the crowd with his promos and badmouthing the faces in the matches..
My favorite is once when D-Von got some guy down (no idea who, when and what he did) who no-sold while D-Von had his back turned towards his oponent. Now usually this is the part where the heel poses and the face attacks the moment he turns around. Not THIS time. As a good tag team partner should do Buhbuh started yelling and pointing and D-Von turned around in time to block the punch..
To me it's part of ring psychology..badmouthing your oponent, pissing off the crowds. And ofcourse this is a nice way to call a spot or two without doing the lame whispering it in his oponents ear. | Raptor

(He's not the worst wrestler, but I doubt he'll ever be mistaken for Lance Storm or something). It also gets the crowd more into the match, and gets them wanting Bubba's ass kicked.
My favorite Dudley moment was a month or so ago, where Bubba pushed D-Von, and yelled "D-VONNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". When D-Von shouted "WHAT?", Bubba walked over, and whispered "get the table" in his ear.
It's the little things like that that I appreciate the most, and Bubba's antics kick ass. | HitTheSnoozeButton

Always seems a bit odd that the guys are so silent throughout the match, even though I can understand the reasons they are (save breath, whispering spots), but it does seem to add something when BuhBuh or Jericho are trash talking their opponents in the match, | BigDaddyLoco

Farooq has always been a bit of a trash talker in the ring, but I enjoy the dumb things Bubba says more. Another thing that's not done enough is mocking the opponet. Scott Hall was probably the best at doing that one, the Giant imatations are some of his best. I also don't mind the fact that Booker T is so into himself that he can't or won't learn that doing the spinarooni during a match is only going to get him into trouble.

| #11 Posted on 11.2.02 0042.20 Reposted on: 11.2.09 0059.01 | So did anything Flair went up to the top rope for. Hell, he always got thrown off. Only time I remember him actually hitting it was at Slamboree 1994. He did the flip over the turnbuckles, ran across the apron to the other turnbuckles (without getting clotheslined), climbed the ropes (without being thrown off), and hit Barry Windham with a cross body from the top for the three count to retain the WCW International World Title.
Of course, Hogan was by then already coming, so in preparation for the sacrifice, Flair turned heel, and beat Sting to unify the IWT and WCW World Title. Or did he have the World title and beat Sting to get the IWT? I honestly can't remember.
Either way, it didn't matter, as he was merely Hogan's sacrifice.
Also in the "never hit" category is Angle's moonsault, and for a while, Benoit's swandive headbutt and third German suplex. | dMp

| #13 Posted on 11.2.02 0519.21 Reposted on: 11.2.09 0529.01 | i love hearing some trash talk. the only thing i love more than trash talk is a pantomimed conversation. "i'm gonna take yer mask!" "i want the belt!" "take that shirt off!" "that guy hit me in the back and it hurts!"
(the best conversation i can recall was when HHH asked rock to team up on foley during the "mcmahon in every corner" wrestlemania main event. "you and the rock? lay the smack down? on him?" followed by an over-enunciated "fuck yeah".)
the thing i don't like about bubba is his tendency to not have his shoulder up when he's supposed to kick out of a pinfall. one of the guys at the torch pointed it out and now i notice it every time. other guys do it to, but now it sticks out with buh buh. | Evil Buddha

X-Pac never hits the Broncobuster
RVD almost always hits the Five-star and Rolling Thunder, but almost always misses the split-legged moonsault and the "backflip shoulder into the midsection thingy."
The victim of Jericho's Lionsault almost always moves

I guess I'm more disgusted with the actual move in itself. At least a number of the ones above (like Angle's moonsault and Benoit's diving headbutt) are impressive. What exactly is Bubba's move supposed to be? | Guru Zim

Yeah, but I've seen ALL of those hit at LEAST once. I've never ever EVER seen Bubba's Senton hit.
As far as Hugh Morrus goes, I think (and I don't actually know anything) that a moonsault's impact is lessened by the impact (of the guy doing it) on the mat to either side of the target, while with a senton, that's not the case -- you've just got the guy's whole weight coming down on the target. It's harder to spread out the point of impact just because of the way the body bends. I guess.

i think it's kind of classy for angle's move to (almost) never hit. kind of like foley saying he would never take a big bump onto somebody. puts the risk on himself, not the other guy. |
