I also liked the Madonna Dateline. Seth and Amy did a good job in that skit.
I also liked the skit in which Parnell played the teacher and everyone copied off the internet.
Highlight of Update was The Kelly Brothers.
The Falconer skit was fun.
The Politics Today skit was oddly funny. Highlights were Amy's Steve Austin reference, and Tracy's character.
Overall, a very enjoyable SNL. Ashton Kutcher did a good job as host.

The big huge German Opera music while they were doing sack races, egg on a spoon races, playing quarters, and disagreeing if MUSKRATEER was a word in scrabble. I thought that was the best Falconer ever. | Grimis

If Jimmy Fallon really does leave after this season maybe that could finally be the death knell or maybe somebody could breathe some life into this thing. At this point, I'd rather have Weekend Update with 80 minutes of Robert Smigel cartoons surrounding it. | Teppan-Yaki

| #7 Posted on 5.5.03 2308.09 Reposted on: 5.5.10 2314.11 | I'd like to think that Fallon's ass being gone could be nothing but good. BECAUSE
A)He's GOT to be responsible for letting himself and Sanz play the same characters in different costumes a billion times.
B)All Tina Fey Update. As the Xand (Iron) Man once said, "Daddy like"
C)Maybe they could get actors that posses the ability to do that one thing he and Sanz have a problem doing which is NOT BREAKING CHARACTER AND LAUGHING LIKE A JACKASS AT JOKES THEY PROBABLY WROTE FOR THEMSELVES. The giggling shit those two do only works in "Jared's Room" and the other five billion skits (hanging with Saddam, turkish talk show) that happens in just look remarkably unprofessional. | tomvejada

| #8 Posted on 6.5.03 0814.00 Reposted on: 6.5.10 0814.15 | It's being reported that Tina Fey will be Update anchor for two more seasons.
It's also being reported that Jimmy Fallon may leave after this season, which I hope is true. Also, Tracy Morgan has a sitcom on the NBC fall schedule, so sadly, he may be gone.
As for Fallon and Sanz breaking character, you forgot to mention the " We got friggin Rosie Over Here" skit which they completely ruined. Props to Fred for not losing it during that skit.
Also, the turkish talk show was actually Darrell Hammond breaking character when his mustache fell. I also think that Hammond won't be back next year. | Simba

I can't see Hammond or Katan sticking around, either. I'd be perfectly content with the ladies carrying next season. | #12 Posted on 7.5.03 1054.19 Reposted on: 7.5.10 1059.04 | I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd rather NOT see an all Tina Fey update. Why? No impartiality, her jokes are inundated with liberal thinking and that's it. She only offers one-sided jokes. Pointless bashing of Bush to start the marathon off. Another Bush joke. Perhaps a "Bush regime" one as well. Absolutely *nothing* about idiocies that Democrats might be up to, nope, she dislikes Bush and will bash him as much as possible. Unlike every other Update, where the political parties would get bashed evenly, Fey solely concentrates on insult jokes against Bush instead of any kind of insightful jokes that sting for both sides.
Maybe if Fallon leaves, hand off update to Seth AND Armison? | Simba

She definitely has her targets, especially with other celebrity women. Look at this past week's episode with a sketch bashing Madonna, the recurring bit with Liza Minnelli, and the consistent whore-calling of Monica Lewinsky, Christina Aguilera, etc. For being a head writer, her repertoire seems to be getting very limited. Putting the word "Vagina" in half your jokes doesn't make it any funnier. | tomvejada

Hooray!
