"It doesn't look good for WWE Tough Enough as the link to the Tough Enough website has been removed from WWE.com. If you put in ToughEnough.com, you just get redirected to WWE.com. This could mean that the WWE doesn't plan to bring the show back for a 4th year since the ratings for season three declined from the past two seasons. It could also be that MTV feels that the WWE isn't hip enough anymore. They already gave up Sunday Night Heat, which made it's move to the TNN, but it could be that MTV wants to part ways completely with the WWE."

Damn, when done right, Tough Enough can be a good show.

They already have an overloaded roster of guys who can already wrestle. They don't need another two every year who can't.

I guess Triple H got what he wanted. After all, it's Tough Enough's fault that ratings are going down, since it exposes the business, right? Right?

Five bucks says Confidential's next on the chopping block.

It could just be that they even if they started taping right this very moment, they won't have any episodes ready till August, and do they really have a point in keeping an outdated website going? They seem to be doing that with the PPV websites all the time.

What Dave had previously said was "MTV has the option on the fourth season, probably won't take it but haven't actually said no yet and still have some time left. Vince is already shopping around the show [to TNN] and has resigned Al for his work on the show among other things."

So it's hard to know if the first or second Dave thing said is the right thing.

But would have been fun if any Dave bothered to go to MTV.com and seen if they took down the link to Tough Enough there, because that would be the barest work possible to find out more information - or at least as much info as he's already got, and noticed that MTV has not. Or maybe you just have to pay to find out that much.

To steal a phrase, Meltz couldn't find mtv.com if you spotted him the "m" and the "t" - he's something like the exact opposite of savvy when it comes to the 'Net. (How he manages to find the Wrestling Classics message board, on the other hand, is even MORE of a mystery to me.)

This is super off topic, but would you mind changing your text color?

I support your support of the Kings, but that particular combo is a bitch to read.

Damn skippy!

I'm obviously not sad to see this sham of a show leave.

-It could also be that MTV feels that the WWE isn't hip enough anymore.-

Surprise surprise.

Thank God! Maybe they will get Al Snow on Raw now! Damn, I miss that guy...(and he doesn't need to wrestle with the damned TE guys, that shouldn't be his legacy!)

I enjoyed TE well enough, but the third time around it had gotten old. At the very least, they should wait a while before doing it again.

Someone here had the idea of doing the next season with established indie wrestlers instead of raw rookies (no pun intended), and the more I think about that, the more I realize it's the ONLY way to make it work right now. It would be fresh and different, not to mention that you'd end up with more usable talent afterwards.

TE2 was the death of Tough Enough, but I'm glad that they were able to get TE3 on the air. Maven, Nidia and Nowinski are all good in their own way (even if Nidia's way is being Torrie's bitch right now), Gayda and Miles just absolutely suck (which is probably how they got their jobs) and from what I saw, the TE3 crew should be OK. Here's hoping that, when they get to the big leagues, they get a bit of introduction instead of WWE just relying on the fans' memories. I don't even know their last names, or the first name of the guy who isn't John.

The names of the two TE3 guys are Matt Cappotelli and John Hennigan

And any guy that would take ANY sort of sexual favor off of either of the TE2 girls is either blind or has their beer goggles on full blast

Jackie Gayda truly was one of the ugliest things I've ever seen, and I work around kids who always manage to surprise me with their ugliness.

I'll second that. Then again, not many of the "Divas" do anything for me...

I still get a kick out of how the Tough Enough 1 class is turning out to be better than 2 and 3 combined.

I think Tough Enough was a terrible idea from the start. I do like Chris Nowinski okay, but he didn't even win the damn thing.

People seem to get behind Nidia and Maven because they are passable in the ring, but I would have much rather seen two new indy workers who are actually good.

I'm glad to see it go.
