The final in game five; 4-1. The final in the series; 4-1.
After a bad first game, the Sens showed their skills with style. I pity Garth Snow, who played very well this series but will probably get the heat for the loss. I do NOT pity the NYI coach, with his stumb comments before the series.
Who's next? Either The Caps (if they win) or the winner of the Flyers/Leafs series (if the Caps lose).

::sigh:: Well, it's not like I didn't totally expect this. I predicted Sens in 5, and that's what I got. Congratulations, Ottawa fans.
Snow did play well, though I still hold my contention that Osgood would have been the more reliable goalie for the playoffs. Oh well. Too bad the rest of the team dropped the ball, not only this series, but most of the regular season as well. Sure, they were outmatched, but there were a lot of chances they just didn't capitalize on.
I don't think Snow's gonna take any heat on this one, as you suggest. The defense really should have been there more than they were.
I agree that Laviolette got a little excited at the beginning of the series, but I do pity him, as he is a good coach, but most of the team wasn't there for him this year.
Oh well, time to put pinstripes in my avatar and move up to the baseball folder.
