The reason that the station gave for my new timeslot was simple: They have something against me. And talk radio.
Seriously, the day is taken up by music shows, and talk shows come on later at night (despite the fact that I got fair-decent ratings in the 1-2 p.m. slot last year).
So, they wanted the talk people to take later timeslots in order to flesh out the holes in the schedule left by the music programing. Being a good little minion, I took the time slot. Hell...2 am is better than not on at all, right? | MoeGates

My friend had the 2-6 slot there, and when she fell asleep at 4 or so, guess who got to play whatever he wanted and talk about ridiculous shit all night? Much better than the no-radio-tower-having debacle that is WSUM.

Ever since WSOU went from NJ's Hardest Rock to Just Another College Station, I've been habitually listening to WABC. I feel more informed about the world, even if a lot of it is mostly editorializing. Talk radio is great. | rte66usa

So I've been streaming your station for like a half hour now and MAN they're playing some weird-ass shit...Something about "Just listen to me young fellow...What need is there for fish to sing when I can walk and bellow"...or something like that...(EDIT - He later ID'd it as "Fish by Mr. Scruff". Now he's playing "Silver Bells" by Dean Martin.)
