I wonder if HHH will take the job? Hell I wonder if he won't drop the title but still be gone for months to do the movie? Either way, this mihgt get HHH off tv for a little while. Promote this thread! | | jwrestle

Hmm...if Triple H leaves to shoot this movie...and Rocky leaves to shoot HIS movie...and with Austin fired...and with Goldberg quickly wearing out his welcome...this would mean...Raw would have to build...

| #9 Posted on 11.4.03 1256.06 Reposted on: 11.4.10 1259.03 | For all of the perception that he is dominating Raw, HHH has been an upper-midcard champ, much like Angle's first reign, or Jericho's, ever since he got the belt back from HBK in December, and even more so since the Rock took the #1 heel spot on Raw in February.
Presuming Rock/Goldberg is the ME at Backlash (which seems like a safe assumption), Backlash will be the fourth PPV in a row where HHH is in the mid-card. Hell, over the course of the whole year, from last year's Backlash to this year's, he's had four PPV MEs and he jobbed in three of them.
I think the reason it looks like he is squashing everyone in his path is the way his vanquished contenders tend to find themselves in the lower midcard after he's done with them. It hasn't happened to Booker (yet) but RVD, Kane, and Steiner sure don't seem like recent World Title contenders. (Though I doubt many mind in Steiner's case).
I wouldn't be surprised if HHH's next PPV ME, and his last for several months, is to job to Goldberg.
Oh, and back on topic, if he's going to be in a movie he should play Marvel's Thor.

Sure, Arnold is up there too, but it's a stretch to think that an almost 40 year old guy is his son. Maybe that's just me.
According to IMDB, Arnold will be 56 on July 30th... But he looks good for his age, opposed to HHH, who doesn't, to me anyway. I mean, Trips is a physical specimen, no doubt about that. But man, his face is all haggard and worn. He's a guy that I would say is 'handsome for an older guy', but there's nothing about him that says that 'I'm Conan's son."
They could play long lost brothers for me. That's the only way I'd take the plot.

Comments like that could really cause confusion for WWF/E writers. Continuity? Looks at the Booker/Michaels/Nash relationship. Phew, luckily that horrid idea of remembering what was booked more than two weeks ago hasn't caught on yet. | asteroidboy

He's proven himself to be nothing but an ass, and I want him to have to remain in Vince's shitty little world. This is old, OLD news. I saw this about 5-6 months ago on the regular movie sites. HHH is also tight with John Milius (sp?),Conan's scribe and director.
Plus, Arnold seems to have a wrestler fetish. He pushed for Chyna in T3 and he's pushing to co-star with Rock. And what about those movies with Ventura? | Chico Santana

Um, he is somewhere between 31 and 34, I believe. Like others said they need to make him Thor in a movie. I would mark-out for that, but he will need to snag some of that Flair color hair dye. |
