It's scheduled to release in June and will be around $50. TF collectors might know that Hasbro had a couple of Unicron designs back then, but they never got past the prototype stage. Now we finally get the real thing!

The only thing better would be if it had an Orson Welles/Leonard Nimoy voice chip.

The retail price would have been $300. It looked REALLY fucking cool though and I was totally gonna buy it, but they pulled it due to low orders.or whatnot and that sucked.
It looked better then THIS one, that's for sure. | Enojado Viento

I'm just slightly full of regret that Fortress Maximus' re-release was scrapped because it couldn't pass a drop-test and we'll never see the Megatron re-release. . .well, unless you got $120 | BoromirMark

I just wished they would have made more re-issues of Prime, I've been trying like mad to find him for at least $50 bucks, but no help. I saw Japan was doing another re-issue with Prime and Megatron with their laser weapons ie the axe and mace. All the Japanesse have to do is put a red dot on the top of Megatron's gun and it can be released here. I would hope they would that, because I really want Prime and Megatron on my shelve.
A Fan- Now, if they could bring the price down another ten bucks for the re-issues. | Enojado Viento

They just reissued Powermaster Prime (now with the whole set he had in Japan) as a TRU exclusive a few months ago.
As for Megatron. . .screw the red dot. . .just go here Click Here (animebooks.com)
Not trying to spam. . .just a public service. It's a tad bit more expensive than a TRU reissue, but hey . . .it has more than the original Megs ever had. . .

Then it pleases me to be the first.
When I saw the movie in the thatre in 87 it rocked. *L* I watch it ever now and again and it still rocks. It aged pretty well for a kid's movie, eh?
That whole sequence with Unicron transforming just blew me away when I was 7. | Bishoplaud

Because Hasbro was threatened with a lawsuit over the toy for stealing the exact mold for the Veritech fighter from Macross/Robotech, if I remember right. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
