So do Atheists for Jesus.

EDIT: Although, I suppose, when you get right down to it, I am an atheist for Jesus, so I probably shouldn't make fun.

Actually, the number of pro-war ralleys is starting to catch up with the number of pro-peace ralleys. I think a good chunk of it is to do more with us not liking Jean Poutine as well.

Athiests for Jesus? I can buy that actually. Many do not believe in Christ, but those same people respect His message and what He taught.

Why in the Hell would you stage a pro-war rally? The war is happening right? Why not have a pro-MTV or a pro-cod fishing rally while you're at it?

I actually walked by their first rally in Toronto. There were about 750 people present. Contrast with the anti-war rallies that regularly draw fifteen to twenty thousand.

Incidentally, even most Canadians who support the war on Iraq don't have any kind thoughts for Dubya.

Why in the hell would you stage an anti-war rally? The war is happening right? Why not stage an anti-HHH rally or an anti-final four rally?

Very amusing Vile1. My point was that the pro war people are getting the war that they so desperately want, so why have a demonstration in favor of it. People hold anti-war rallies because they are against the imperialism that is transpiring.

So you're saying that people who support the war desperately wanted it? Kind of a stretch.

My best friend's roommate went to Montreal for a bachelor party about 2 weeks ago. They're at a... gentlemen's club when they're invited to hang with some rich looking guys who've apparently paid 4 girls to get right in front of them and... do whatever it is they do there.

These guys say to our protagonists, "Where are you guys from?" "Boston."
"Oh, you're Americans. Do you like Bush?"

They took this to mean, uh, are you enjoying the show? Naturally, an affirmative response. These guys then announced their Palestinian origin, their hatred of W, and proceeded to bust a chair over the best man's nose.

Sounds too dumb to be true, but I trust my best friend's telling of the events.

Please tell me this is a joke and that you are not this ignorant. Nobody I know who supports the war wanted this.

Well, Canada's not taking part in the Iraq action, so there, the pro-war protest does make sense, in terms of opposing the government.

Same as the anti-war protests in the US. You don't generally have to demonstrate in favour of the government.

Silence = Approval, or is at least percieved to.

Well there were massive groups of people in practically every country who did expressed thier objection to this war in no uncertain terms, so someone must have wanted a war pretty badly. Like defense contractors, maybe..

Well, the people who have driven by our demonstrations and shouted "Nuke the bastards", "Yea War" and "Fuck Iraq" seem to enjoy the war.

Also, here in America, we've been having a lot of pro-troop rallys, which I support. People both for and against the war should still be able to support the troops. Of course, these rallys seem to turn into anti-peace activist, pro-war rallys, but that's another story.
