It was a song I heard from a friend who downloaded it on Kazaa. Many of the songs on Kazaa are hopelessly misnamed, so I don't put much stock in that most of the time. Case in point: At least 50% (IMO) of the songs that say they are by Weird Al Yankovic aren't.
But anyway, it said it was by Nelly featuring 2MS. The song was called "It's All About The Money Now", and it said something about it being a song for a future album. I just wonder how a song that hasn't been released yet could already be making its way around the internet. And yes, I know the same thing happened with that Nirvana song.
So does anyone know if the song truly is by Nelly, or if it is in fact by someone else?

It could just be off a mixtape. Is there, for instance, DJ Clue bleating "DESERT STORM!" over the song?

No. It starts out with a phone ringing. A guy who says his name is "C-Clay" or "City Clay" or something like that is talking to someone who sounds like Nelly. "Nelly" calls him "Dirty." Supposedly they're playing the song over the phone.
The beginning of the actual song has someone saying "What's up Dirty, this your mother-f***ing boy Pretty, I'm with my mother-f***ing boy City Clay, we [something] some s**t like this, you heard me? This song goes out to the real pretty boys, from St. Louis to [something that begins with an E]ville, to those fat-cat n*****s in [something], and them hos in St. Croix. "
So it's just these two guys singing the song, and then afterwards, one of the guys goes "This song goes out to those real pretty boys out there, to my boys in St. Charles, what's up playa? What's up Holly Pa (or something like that)? What's up Travis? Junior? My baby mama, what's up? My little girl Taylor. What about you Clay, what you got?" And then this City Clay guy goes "To those fake-a** haters that stole my car, I know you all out there, I'm gonna find you mother-f*****s man, but hey, don't matter now because I'm riding Hummers, SUVs (Lexus, baby, Lexus, bling, bling, blinging like a mother-f*****), I'm going to Puerto Rico, getting smashed, girls saying "Ooh, Papi", you dig? It's my life, you dig?" etc, etc, etc.
Way more info than you wanted I'm sure, I just have an obsession with making sure my MP3s are properly identified.

It's not the song you are looking for but Nelly has a song on his first disc called "Ride Wit Me"(Featuring City Spud). And that song has "It's all about the money" as a chorus, so I'm guessing that the song you want to know about might be something like "Ride Wit Me pt.II" or a remix of some kind, and you could look for an artist called City Spud. But I'm sure the song is not on the first disc from Nelly or The St. Lunatics first disc. From what you describe, I didn't hear that on his 2nd disc, but I only heard that cd once.
