Personally, I hate being a smark on some levels. I like knowing the backstage news, but I'm not too fond of most smarks' arrogance; the constant criticism of the WWE, saying so and so is a 'bad worker', how their's a conspiriancy to hold their hero Chris Benoit down, etc...

The majority of them are whiny little bitches who just like to criticize the WWE likes it's life or death. It's just a tv show. If you don't like it, then don't watch it.

You all like to criticize and look down at the big wrestlers such as Albert and Big Show, when none of you could do a tenth of the work they do. I sure would like to see you skidmarks work a match for once. It's very a difficult job and not just anyone can pull it off.

Vince Russo put his heart and soul into entertaining people and you call him an idiot, and that you could do a better job. If you guys think you can do a better job, why hasn't the WWE, WCW, or NWATNA ever hired you then? You're probaly thinking, oh, "I should booking wrestling, not Russo". Most of you are just jealous, but of course you won't admit it.

WWE puts on all these shows on for you, most of which are free via television, and you all just complain and complain. Just enjoy the show for once, instead of overanalyzing and nitpicking each and every single segment.

why do we always seem to get one of these threads every few weeks? Yes being a smark has its pro and cons but why bitch about the bitching? You get a group of fans of anything together and they will bitch. My only suggestion for you is to do the best you can to enjoy the show yourself. If you really want to get away from all the negetivity then my only suggestion is to avoid the internet community in general. sorry dude

Yes, free television in which they make money from selling ads. Ads that are sold becuase of ratings. Ratings which rely on the people who watch the shows. The people who would like to enjoy what it is that they are watching.

The WWE isn't a charitable organization so the people who consume what they produce have a right to be displeased.

Yes, some smarks can be annoying, but I can't think of anything worse than a smark who resents being a smark. You're no better than anyone else here.

So can anyone who has ever worked a match on this board come in and call those talentless slugs out? I trained for a while and hope to go back when funds will allow it. Can I suggest yet not state as absolute fact that they are not good workers?

And of the 4 main WWE shows, only one is actually on free-to-air tv. Raw, Heat, and the monthly PPV all have their own costs attached to them. But hey, who ever let the facts stand in the way of a good overused, whiny, cliched, ignorant, stereotyping, hypocritical and otherwise useless rant?

Hey lordazzington, have you ever heard of going to a WWE event,or buying WWE Cds, WWE Dvds, WWE Videos, WWE Magizine, posters, and T-shirts? I think most if not all of us smarks buy alot of stuff from the WWE. We are here because we love wrestling, and we do pay for it. When you buy a ticket to a Movie you have all the right in the world to talk about it, and it doesn't matter if you can act or can not. There are people I like and people I don't. I watch with an open mind every time, fact is just a couple of Heats ago I realized that I like Maven now(and I hated him before). Most of us take backstage news as rumors and then state our opinions. If you get sick of the board, take some time off and get in touch with your inner mark(I do) and then come back refreshed. Some people hate HHH for their own reasons, I happen to like him and am not bothered by their opinions. I even happen to think some of their HHH jokes are funny and make my own sometimes based on the HHH controls the universe rumor. Have fun here, It's all about opinions(not facts).

I agree with everyone on this. 1997 was the first time I ever got "in" with all the backstage stuff and the first bit of backstage news was the Montreal Screwjob. Over the years, I have enjoyed knowing some stuff but it takes the fun out of it. Like everyone else here, just enjoy the show and have fun doing it.

Honestly, if he hates everybody here so much, why doesn't he fuck off? That's what I'd do if I thought you all were a bunch of whiny dirtbags.

Maybe his Mommy didn't love him enough and he wants attention? Or maybe his dad just never slapped the shit out of him enough when he was little.

lordazzington, you really just seem to say things to piss people off. Really, why don't you go haunt some other message board if you think this one sucks so much?

You know, they don't exactly publicize this stuff. You could avoid all of it and go back to having the same knowledge as all of the "marks" have. No one makes you come to insider sites and newsboards and the like.

Eh... sounds to me like he'd be happier if someone confiscated his computer. I could use a new computer, so if you want to send yours to me, that'd be cool.

Anyway... if he likes fake pregancy angles, necrophilia, crucifixtion, bloodbaths, giving an actor a world title, giving a talentless fat fuck a cruiserweight title, dousing people with barbecue sauce, watching the same guy win every singles match he's involved in for eight months, and the like... well, I'm happy for him. If I like what I see, I'm the first one to say “Damn good job, WWE!” If I hate it, I'll say that too. Doesn't matter if I can write this stuff, or if I can put out those kind of matches. If it's on my television, it had damn well better not waste two hours of my life that I'll never get back. If I pay for a pay-per-view, I had damn well better get my money's worth. And if I do, hey... I'm happy to shower them with cash.

In short, I'll say this: All generalizations about a group of people are false. I've met some dumb people of every race, gender, shape and size, but that doesn't mean, for example, that all fat people are stupid. So it is with any community. By definition, a community is made up of a large group of people, and you'll never see everybody in a community agree on any one thing, let alone everything. For example, there are a lot of people on the board that wish The Undertaker would retire, but that certainly doesn't mean that everybody agrees.

And by the way, Dazzington... you just called yourself a skidmark. Which you have every right to do, so congratulations... you're a skidmark.

Oh, I know that im not forced in any way to view websites and stuff like that and am I in no way jaded to the point where I just dont watch. The advent of the internet has changed the way many of us has looked at wrestling now. Some ways good, some bad and for some like me, its really turned kind of neutral because some of this information on sites aren't always 100 percent true. I still enjoy the shows as I always have, its just slightly skewed from time to time!

**Ahem, allow me to interject lordarrogantazz. You seem to believe that you have all of us "fat,Star Wars watchin',ugly, unathletic, losers figured out. Well before you go around being the IWC's sworn savior of all that is good and true and telling us the error of our ways and how we need to be less critical of a tv show thats free none the less, why don't you stop being so fucking critical of the people (yes we are people too lordarrogantazz)who post threads here and reply to said threads.I'd admire your input and opinion if it wasnt so obvious that your just trying to piss us off every time you waste space here with your nonsence.Sorry to interupt, plaes continue.....

**I'm so glad that we get this opinion from someone who must have obvious experience in the pro wrestling business... Whats that??... yyyou don't?? Then stop telling us how hard it is. There is no doubt in the minds of any Smark that what all these perfomers do is very vigorus and takes much dedication. However the examples you give of guys that we bash all the time are legitimate wastes of talent and time and its not just us "whiners" (thats wieners by the way) that prove this time and again, the lack of heat from smarks and marks alike, and the many wasted TV hours free or otherwise and the MANY scrapped angles wasted on these guys are proof enough to me that they are worthless, and thats before lack of workrate and a personality are factored in. Next thing you'll tell us is that Rosey and Jamal are the big mans equivilant of Benoit and Gurrero. And BTW maybe your too self important to realise this but to me theres tougher things to do in life than being a wrestler like being a Police officer or Firefighter or joining the military and defending everyones right to have these silly little debates, IMO anyways.Oh my, how rude of me please continue, I'm VERY intersted in your post lord.....

**Jealous?? Of what?? A guy who was cast out by every major promotion because he's a loose cannon and because his image of what wrestling should be is frowned upon by networks, but I suppose it was the opinions of the IWC that have blackballed Vinny Ru, it's amazing how you mock us yet give us so much credit.I mean he's only in NWA-TNA because noone wants the piece of crap. Besides NWA-TNA only takes the garbage that fans no longer care to see wasting there TV time, it's just that in a small pond these guys look like really big fish, and if it wasnt for the fact that fans did support them somewhat they probably wouldnt even have that.Well there I go again... sorry my bad... continue please........

**"OH THANK THEE, WWE THE GREAT ALL POWERFUL FORCE THAT ALLOWS THOUGH TO BE BORED SENSELESS AT TIMES LATELY, AND THANK THEE FOR KEEPING THOUGH UP TO DATE ON SUCH EXCITING THINGS AS THE WHOLESOME PRACTICE OF NECROPHILIA AND THE VERY (not) ENTERTAINING GGW. THANK THEE FOR SLOW PLODDING WRESTLERS AND STOYLINES TO MATCH AND MAY OUR BROTHER AL WILSON REST IN PEACE (yeah OK) KNOWING THAT HIS DAUGHTER... WILL BE GRACING THE PAGES OF PLABOY".Listen carefully... If they expect me to shell out 25-40 clams every month (obviously cutting into my Star Wars figure budget and my supply of Big Macs, right lord) they better keep me interested in between. Now, I will be ordering Wrestlemania this weekend as I have ordered most PPV's in this year of bad angles, poor product and lack of effort on the programs writing staffs, despite what is possibly one of the greatest rosters of talent ever assmbled (yes even Albert and Big Show in there own way). I will however try to be objective and enjoy what I feel is the strongest WM card in many years, if not of all time. And in a world where 24 hour news and sports channels sit around overanalyzing everything from the war in Iraq to whether Emmit Smith should continue his career w/ the Cardinals, don't you dare tell me I can't express my opinion about the form of entertainmnet that I hold so dear.Well I gotta run, the large pizza that I orderd for myself is here and Star Trek is on the Sci-Fi network,, HEH HEH HEH (in best geek laugh) I'll save you a slice lord.

Can’t believe it myself but I am about to defend the concept of “smarks”. May God have mercy on us all.

I was in a fine establishment recently that happens to specialize in alcoholic beverages. There also happened to be some WWE programming on the TV. A buddy of mine who is the chef there came out from the back and began to discuss said programming right in the middle of a conversation I was having with a nice young lady seated next to me. He is such a good friend that he enjoys doing things like this on a regular basis.

At any rate, she actually responded to the conversation by saying she used to be absolutely hooked on the shows until “things just started getting stupid” and she just stopped watching.

It reminded me of the WWF Wrestlecrap Era that had caused me to give up watching wrestling. My childhood NWA was equally crappy and while I knew it wasn’t “real” I too could not figure out why it had gotten so “stupid”. What happened to my simple Piper’s Pit and Horsemen days? Hell, this shit isn’t rocket science right?

Well, shortly after that I got my first computer with its 28.8 modem and AOL account (hey, it was a long time ago alright!) and I began my decent into smarkdom. I would read rumors and ideas that I thought sounded good. I would tell my friends who had also stopped watching to look for certain things I thought they would like. I was rooting for wrestling to succeed!

I guess that is what it’s all about. That is why I am still watching and hoping during this latest crap dive. My name is Jackson and I am a smark. Shoot me.

No really, Shoot me now!

Edit: Wait, shoot me later cause tonight I am a full blown mark baby!
