The following is an exclusive transcription from the PWTorch Hotline:
Sources are reporting that Lex Luger had a meeting with Vince McMahon last week and that the two parties are seriously considering working out a deal together. McMahon was very pleased with Luger's previous tenure with World Wrestling Entertainment some ten years ago.
With the much-anticipated debut of Bill Goldberg forthcoming, one would figure that the physically dominant "Total Package" would be a great feud for Goldberg, and would rekindle some of their past WCW history.
As I reported yesterday, the WWE is looking to again reform the New World Order in the coming months, starting with Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan. Now, with prospects of a Lex Luger return looking very optimistic, we may see another go around of the popular nWo Wolfpac.
Don't look for Luger to appear at WrestleMania. Chances are that any type of deal won't be fully reached until at least Backlash time in late April.

While Lance is from Canada, and Regal from England, put Luger in there from the U.S. and you can start a whole little U.N. mock thing. They can be like "were looking out for the best for everyone like the U.N. but they could be heels and do things for themselves.

He can't draw, no one gives a shit about him, he couldn't have a decent match to save his life and he's totally washed up.
And at 6'5 and 200 lbs, I would probably be better for the WWE than Luger at this point, if I put some muscle mass on. Though being "fat azzed" may be hard to overcome. At least I'd have potential But I never claimed to be a professional wrestler and I think Luger should resign himself to the fact that he should no longer try to either. | Big Bad

If those guys formed a mock UN, I'd hope for them all to get into a bus crash that leaves them stranded on a desert island. Then, weeks later, Moe would rescue them, but they'd have eaten Lex to stay alive. Regal and Storm could then wrestle as "The Castaways."

| #13 Posted on 26.3.03 0803.58 Reposted on: 26.3.10 0811.21 | I for one, am a HUGE Lex Luger fan and cannot wait for his return. Hopefully an agreement can be met.
I know he gets a lot of b-s, maybe he deserves it, but he's still one of my all-time favorites.
He may not have the greatest offense in the world or the best charisma. He also may not have the best physique anymore. But that's ok.
Simply put: there is no one as smart & stupid, goofy & composed, strong & weak, cowardly & heroic all at once like the Total Package. The WCW Hvywt Title Tournament was one of his best runs in my opinion (isn't that right Liz?).

Didn't Vince hate the angle after they tried it the first time around? Geeze...between Luger and Nash there's a wealth of about what...3 or 4 actual wrestling moves. | #15 Posted on 26.3.03 0854.11 Reposted on: 26.3.10 0859.02 | Lex totally sucks. He's not very tough, he's totally ugly, and can't put on a decent show. I would be much more excited if they hired someone who was young and interesting. Even though I'm not a huge fan of Leviathan, I would be much more happy for him to get a push (after his injury heals, of course), since he is new and different and hasn't yet hopefully lost his sparkle.

| #16 Posted on 26.3.03 1020.16 Reposted on: 26.3.10 1025.13 | By bringing in Luger, I think the WWE can make a good case of 'anything can happen in the WWE'. It's unexpected, which is what the WWE should be all about, expect the unexpected. It's getting people talking, right? And if Lex does debut, I'm quite certain that he'll have a lot of attention directed towards him.
You people seem to show a strong resentment towards him, well then, I think he'd make a pretty good heel in the WWE ranks, considering how hated he is, not to mention that he has pretty good mic skills. Besides, he makes a much better heel than face anyways so keep the heel heat coming. Add more fuel to the fire please, I want to see Lex Luger in the WWE. | spf

| #20 Posted on 26.3.03 1042.40 Reposted on: 26.3.10 1044.57 | I bet Luger is thinking in his mind right now, "Oh no, I don't want to piss of those fatazzed never-kissed-a-girl but-their-mom smarks by signing with the WWE right now."
I'm sorry to say, but most of you people are a bunch of arrogant pricks (99% of the ICW population). You like to knock and belittle on people who've had more success than you, to make yourself feel better about your bleak dead-end lives. It's a good thing Lex Luger doesn't listen to you guys, because then he maybe he'd be one of you, shamelessly blasting others to make themselves feel better.
Damn, give Lex a break. What's wrong with a guy trying to earn a living most of you people would sell your souls for?
