Nice of the guy to not just shut down completely like every other decent site out there and to leave this forum up. We've had our disputes in the past but I can respect that.
Now on to the topic which has to do with the above comments. I was pretty disappointed with the disrespect the posters in the other thread showed both Widro and Ashish. You can make polite constructive criticism without trashing them and mocking the site.
Wrestling is on a downturn and I would assume fans would be happy a person like Widro would slave hours on end trying to upgrade 411wrestling into a more diverse site that represents a majority of our interests. I've tried on two occasions to create and run a site on my own and burned out after six months on both. Felt like it was killing me to keep it fresh and updated and a staff happy and contributing.
Now imagine Widro and Ashish paying out the ass for server costs and working hours on end restructuring the site and adding cool features like customizing the home page and upgrading the UBB forum.
It's pretty lame to come into Slashwrestling which has been abandoned SHOWING it's visitors first hand how fragile wrestling sites of any substance on the internets existence is can so freely trash and insult Widro and Ashish.
At the least show some thanks and gratefulness for their effort. Acknowledge the fact that they have never made a cent on the site and PAY to entertain YOU.
I personally like the site design and probably spend too much time going to the various sections as it's very rich in content and of course the forums are one of the best on the internet (no offense intended).
Anyway, thanks for your time. I just thought many of you came off as the stereotypical, bitchy, whiney, net nerds who trash anything and everything. Maybe put some thought into the effort and cost of running a site as big as 411 before running your mouth next time. Constructive criticism is welcome of course. Petty, cheap insults to someone busting their ass for you is lame.
