Quinn lands Owen Nolan, and the Senators respond with.....
Rob Ray?
Maybe it isn't so much "incredible" as it is one-sided.
PS: just having fun, don't want to become embroiled in another Sens vs Leafs debate.

I was hoping that it would be Zhitnik and his STUPID penalties going instead of a team captain whose penalties mean something and who is a leader on and off the ice.
Well, none of my favorite Sabres are left from the days of blue and gold. If the team DOES fold, Ray just might be the one that I follow to Ottawa.

Sham, while I will agree w/ you that Ray was a leader on and off the ice, he was basically a waste of salary. Fans here in Buffalo will all go teary eyed cause one of there "lunch bucket" kinda guys was sent packing. I say it was high time. The Sabres need to removes as much salary as they can so that they can keep the few respectable and talented player that they have, such as Miro Satan. Now I have to also agree w/ you on Zhitnik, at 3.5 million, he is a huge burden on the team w/ his lack of offensive production, but he still is at least a top 2 or 3 D-man in this leauge and one of the only known players on this sorry squad. What the fans here must realise is, the Sabres are gonna be a better team w/out unprodutive players like Ray and Barnes and most of all Gratton. Ray was only a bit player anyways, and though I'll miss his brawls w/ Domi when the Sabres play the Leafs, I believe a youth movement is long overdue. Oh.. and by the way if you think Ray will help the Sens win the cup it's the other way around hes just along to get a ring, he probably won't even dress in the playoffs. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
