On PTI today, they showed the cover of David Wells' new biography. Turns out that the book was cowritten by none other than former WWE writer Chris Kreski.

I was wondering what he was doing since he left WWE.

EDIT: Oops, the thread title should've said, Former WWE Writer in the News.

Damn. I had no idea who he was, when he left, or that he was in WWE in the first place!

Wasn't he the REALLY organized writer that mapped every relationship or feud between wrestlers out on a big board (or something like that)?

If anyone was actually doing that in WWE we wouldn't have plot holes the size of Madonna's vagina, now would we?

By which I mean abnormally large plot holes.

Kreski also co-authored Star Trek Memories, Star Trek Movie Memories and Get A Life with William Shatner (these books are very entertaining).

He also worked with Johnny Bravo himself, Barry Williams aka Greg Brady on Growing Up Brady.

I don't know if Kreski was the guy or not, but around 2000-01, there WAS a guy that was either in charge of or at least had a prominent role within the writing staff. Every single angle was mapped out with large storyboards. Also, relationships between characters were kept track of so that completely illogical pairings based on past events wouldn't happen. Coincidently, this was also the time when some of the most entertaining, yet sound/logical/cogent storylines were being put out.

I'm not 100% sure of this, but I think it got to a point where said writer got so frustrated with the backstage situation, he decided to up and leave. It's been nothing but downhill since. Sigh...

It's called long-term planning. Have you ever heard James Ellroy talk about the lengths he goes to to map out one of the plots for his books? It's really amazing.

Kreski also wrote many episodes of "Beavis and Butt-Head" before writing for WWE.

I think it was Kreski who planned all of the angles using storyboards.
