411, stolen from 1Bob today, said that the Vertebreaker is "no longer being used in the WWE". The Hurricane has used the move ONCE on TV since coming from WCW, and that was a pre-PPV Heat against Steven Richards! And that was a long-ass time ago! God, the day someone slaps wrestling news sites with a dose of common sense, I think the world might implode.
Actually, it might take common sense and writers who can actually write sentences people can follow. Writers with some, at least somewhat small grasp of how to compose a sentence.
Thank God neither 411 nor 1Bob have that. Shit, I kind of like the world the way it is.

I was going to edit back up and say "Hey, Hurricane's been saying this for months now (almost going on years) why is this news? And why do we care when he has THREE other finishers that are a lot safer looking" but I never got around to it.
But then I remembered I was amazingly correct and had to come back to point that out.

Funny the keep reducing the moves the wrestlers can do and they are just getting more major injuries than ever.
It's not the guys doing the crazy stunts or hardcore matches that are hurt it's the guys that keep their feet to the mat type guys. Necks are still being repaired even though they banned the piledrivers, tombstones ect..
It's called being over used and too careful. Guys are trying not to get hurt or are working too many dates and the human body gives out at some point or fear of getting hurt causes hesitation which leads to mistakes.
It's usually not (but at times is)the specific moves but the repetition and total wear and tear on the guys. Since they are going to be out sooner or later let me enjoy the big nasty looking moves now. Wrestling has enough problems already don't remove our favorite moves as well. End of rant

The Hurricane did indeed use the Vertebreaker this Sunday against Stevie Richards. Cubs, can I presume that you found a spoiler report detailed enough to list finishers or was it just that your Hurri-senses were tingling?
Anyways, its the first time I've seen the move in the WWE, though I've heard it described on this board a number of times. Impressive (and scary) as hell, but I can see how it would be even more dangerous than the piledriver. At least with the piledriver you can see/feel where the opponent's head is. With the recent rash of major neck injuries, I understand why the Fed is banning the move...
