Several of my fellow WWE fans and I were discussing how shitty Angle's injury is, when one came up with a good idea. If they run Tough Enough again, let Angle be the head trainer. It won't interefer with his tv time, since he is injured, and it is less demanding time wise--so he can see his kids still. Angle on the show would be great, he's a funny guy who would be good to watch and he could train the SHIT out of the kids. Also, this could start a great tag-team storyline in theory. Have Team Angle break away from Kurt and turn on him and stay with Heyman.... then the two guys who win TE4 can form a NEW Team Angle with Angle, and have a sort off Midnight vs Original Midnight fued.

That's a heck of an idea. I don't know if the decision has been made yet as far as location, but with Angle, the natural choice is his old stomping grounds. If you've read the book, you know what kind of training regimen he put himself through during his Olympic training. I can picture those contestants making those legendary uphill runs he used to make.

The only thing I see that might be a problem (or might be a very good thing, depending on how you look at it) is a run as trainer could very well FINALLY turn Kurt Angle face. He's so effective as a heel, I'd almost hate to see that.

Is Tough Enough 4 even going to happen? I hope so, but I haven't heard anything yet.
Also, I think Kurt might be a bit busy rehabbing his neck, but I don't have any idea what that entails, so as to whether or not he could train the TE kids, I do not know.

Am I the only one who doesn't want to see a fourth Tough Enough? And I don't know about Angle taking on a role in this show which is mostly held by un-over, mid-card performers. Oh well.
And yes, I could just avoid watching it, but as a wrestling fan(and one with little life), its hard sometimes. Bah.

Didn't they announce at some point that the 4th season of Tough Enough was going to do away with the ban against current indy wrestlers? If this is true, Tough Enough 4 could be a lot more interesting because it would be comprised of people who have already sacrificed somewhat for the businesses and would presumably know their basics, thus allowing the trainers to focus on polishing them for WWE level competition and not just teaching them how to fall down properly.

Maybe that's the problem...maybe the fact that the TE grads can barely put together a watchable match is the fact that they're not being trained by the best.

That's not saying Snow and Company aren't any good, but just imagine the training you'd get from Angle (and maybe even Edge, but that's certainly debatable.)

I think I would prefer being trained by Al Snow over a gazillion Edges. Doesn't Snow own a wrestling school btw, or planned on opening one? I think I heard this a few years back.
And guys like DeMott, Chavo Guerrero and Tazz should be able to teach me a whole lot more than Edge too..

Ofcourse training with Angle would be insane. You think any of those kids would survive his Olympic training? Fuck..even he himself says he could never do anything like that again..

Edit: But I love the idea for the storyline, have Kurt single handedly train a new team Angle because this one failed him (after all..they let Brock get to him)

You're not alone. I believe Triple H echoes your sentiment, since the way Tough Enough exposes the business it the sole reason for WWE's decline. Triple H said it, so it must be true!

In all seriousness, I'm not sure if Kurt as a trainer is such a good idea. There's a degree of physicality that goes with being a Tough Enough trainer and I think it would be time better spent rehabbing. HOPEFULLY, Kurt can be back by next year's Wrestlemania.

Actually, I'm not sure that Kurt would make a good trainer. I mean, he's obviously a very talented wrestler, but that's not the same thing. Teaching others requires a much different set of skills. So far, the Tuff Enough shows have used trainers with experience and background training, especially Al Snow, who does opperate a small training school out of Lima, OH. Taz and Holly both have experience as well.

I remember when Austin first came back early from his neck surgery. He just looked so feeble and could only use chair shots instead of stunners. I don't think Angle (or anyone) would be able to handle Tough Enough during his rehab. Lita barely manages broadcasting (that may have nothing to do with her neck, though).

Kurt Angle could show up like Tazz did in 3- just there to offer a challenge or hang out every once in a while, but I don't think he'd be able to train them full time.

Jeez... Angle isn't even gone yet and I can't wait for his return.

I'm not to worried about his skills, but I'd be more worried about what happens when a greener than grass cast member screws something up when Kurt's doing the training.

I think the idea of Angle being a TE trainer and the ensuing angle Scott suggested is brilliant... which, of course, means the Fed won't do it.
