| #1 Posted on 5.3.03 1502.00 Reposted on: 5.3.10 1506.21 | With everything that's happened this week, next week's shows are pretty much can't miss. You have the Booker-Rock match on RAW and the Lesnar-Angle match on SD!, and nobody has any freakin' clue what's going to happen. It looks like things are going to be shaken up, BIG time. The funny thing is that all of this comes off of WWE promising TNN and UPN big surprises on both shows between NWO and WM. I wonder what they were actually *planning* to do…

That is exactly how I remember it. Holly is a douche bag and should really be dropped by the WWE. Since then, Lesnar has been pretty good in terms of not injuring anyone and I think he knows pretty well that his future will be darkened a bit if he lets anything happen to Kurt. I could see a screw job coming by Team Angle where they come into the ring when the ref is down and pound Kurt pretty bad and Lesnar, completely shocked, slowsly covers him for the 1-2-3. This way, it gets the title off of Kurt and onto Lesnar without Kurt doing the job for free TV and gives more needed heat to Team Angle. They can actually show that it was Benoit who recruited Team Angle to beat Kurt with the promise of $. | HMD

He struggles through, and limps out to the ring. Brock comes out, and because Angle refuses not to hand over the title, Brock beats him easily. Heyman gets into the ring, and spits on Angle. He says he knew Angle didn't have the cojones to beat Brock, but he know who does. Benoit slides in the ring, and lays a massive beatdown. | Downtown Bookie

| #13 Posted on 8.3.03 0413.25 Reposted on: 8.3.10 0417.02 | Forgive me if this has already been proposed (as there are several threads regarding this topic) but allow me to suggest another possibility. WWE could have Angle be the victim of an off-camera beatdown (with the paramedics carting him away in an ambulance) just as Edge was a couple of weeks ago. Since (IIRC) Edge's "attackers" have not yet been revealed on the show this could lead to an angle revolving around who is responsible for these back stage beatings. Was it Team Angle that put Edge in the hospital? Was the attack on Kurt Angle retaliation for the prior assault on Edge? And if so, by whom? Or is this the work of some as yet unknown third party or parties? Again, just one possibilty as to how WWE could incorporate this unfortunate event into its storyline. | oldschoolhero

| #14 Posted on 8.3.03 0456.06 Reposted on: 8.3.10 0458.35 | Oka, bear with me here: Angle limps out for his match with Lesnar, sporting crutches and a neckbrace, and claims that Lesnar's assault in the cage match has reaggravated his broken neck that he sustained whilst fighting for his country. Brock comes out, and Kurt faces down with him, saying that all Brock has to do is come to the ring and Kurt will hand the belt over. Brock walks to the ring, but gets jumped by Team Angle, the Big Show and Albert. Cue a MASSIVE beatdown, with Kurt getting in a few licks and ocassionally clutching at his neck for effect. THEN Stephanie makes her entrance. Mic in hand, she comments on the unfortunate timing of Kurt's neck injury, and the serious nature of it. A man with a broken neck is no championship cnadidate, and in fact he probably needs time off to heal that injury. So, effective immediately, Steph is stripping Kurt of the belt and suspending him indefinitely. Kurt can protest and point out the injury was faked, but Steph is having none of it, announcing a mini-tournament to start next week and climax at Mania.
See? Saves Kurt's heel character, doesn't breach kayfabe, and get the title off of him with a minimum of fuss. | Cerebus

| #15 Posted on 8.3.03 1231.28 Reposted on: 8.3.10 1232.35 | Why not have the match, but it ends in like less then 3 minutes(did I just say...) with Kurt winning with a roll up. Then. have Lesner destroy Kurt and leave him there in a pool of blood. By the end of the show, we find out just HOW badly Kurt's been injured and the title is held up then, or Steph hands it to Brock, much the same way Helmsley got the title, but only THAI time, Brock DOES earn it, but not during a match and it leaves it open for Kurt to come back to a ready made feud.
EDIT: 'Keave' and 'lurt' are NOT words.
