| #43 Posted on 4.3.03 2222.14 Reposted on: 4.3.10 2229.03 | I think we've covered these before, but here we go...
Sid Vicious
This is a guy with the LOOK - and goddammit if he hasn't been a perfectionist at picking his spots for returning.
Brian Knobbs
Can't stand his partner Jerry Sags, but I loved Knobbs' solo run in WCW in 1999. FROM HIS PROMOS WHERE HE YELLED A WHOLE LOT, to his random dangerous swinging of weapons, to his association with...
The First Family
The Barbarian, Hugh Morrus, Jerry Flynn, and Jimmy Hart. Death to ratings, but christ almighty I got a kick out of these guys trying to be taken seriously.
The Big Show
This isn't a secret to anyone who's read my writing in the past. My love for the big guy grew even more when I saw him have a couple of awesome matches with Brock Lesnar when I was starting to think I'd never see him crack the ** barrier ever again.
X-Pac
The dude puts on good matches. What's not to like?
Kevin Nash
He entertains me by standing around making faces at people...which happens to be what he does best! Seems to have a bad rep for ruining WCW. I'd love to hear stories about Kevin Nash actually doing anything wrong besides putting himself over Goldberg, because lord knows he's done very little wrong and wound up as the devil.
The Cat
And to hell with Wrestleline for repeatedly putting him as #1 on their Bottom 10. He was the biggest heel in pro-wrestling for awhile, where NOBODY could have possibly liked the guy simply based on the fact he hated everyone and tried to show them in every way he could. It makes me sick they ever turned him face.
There's more I'm sure... So we'll shorten it up and end with:
WCW's Entire Roster...except Rick Steiner | darkmatcher

Thank you so much, cfgb. You've practically made my day. He also wasn't always the "lazy worker" people rip him for being if you ask me.

Rikishi, even though he doesn't work the mic that well or is too sharp of a wrestler, I don't see any reason to hate him, he has some fun parts of a match.
and, Hogan and HBK...although I joined the Wrestling Fan community late, so I never got to mark out for them the first time around.

| #46 Posted on 4.3.03 2339.55 Reposted on: 4.3.10 2341.47 | Billy Gunn. He's solid, reliable, and loves the business. C'mon, guys, he did the gay angle with a smile on his face. You could just tell the guy loved his job. Why does everybody hate him so much?
Kane. Kane! KANE!!! I fucking love Kane. My #1 mark-out guy these days. No one is more intimidating than the big red machine. He never got a fair shake, in my opinion. The 24 hour title reign, being the Undertaker's "little bro," Katie fucking Vick. He could have been great but appears to be destined to hang out with Chris Benoit as one of the eternal upper-midcarders.
Chyna. EVERYONE hates her but me, I think. Yes, she's shitty in the ring, but so are lots of people. I like her because she's a fucking cool person who's incredibly smart and decided to join the WWF instead of being a damn FBI agent, for crying out loud. Plus her entrance music ruled. I've always stuck up for Chyna, despite a near-unanimous hatred for her.
The Ultimate Warrior. He's the guy I marked out for when I was just a sprout. I haven't seen him in a match since around 91-92, because I'm afraid it'll shatter the memories I have of wrestling at that point in my life. I haven't watched Transformers: The Movie since it was new for the same reason.
Scotty 2 Hotty: The Worm! People used to MARK THE FUCK OUT for that move. I love a good "goofy gimmick" wrestler. The Hurricane is good, but I miss you, Scotty. Please come back. Sniff...

No way, picking it up on DVD is a good choice, if for nothing but the "Dare to Be Stupid" singing and dancing number on the Junk Planet.
On Topic, I like A-Train. He's pretty damned intense, and when put into the ring with a real Machine like Angle or Benoit he makes everybody look pretty good. | astrobstrd

He got a raw deal most of his WCW tenure, and finally got the good push at the end. As for his WWE stint.. he'd definitely make a good tag team/midcard guy. But people bitch when he goes over anyone.
I'll also vouch for being a Test fan.
I also like Chuck Palumbo. He works hard in the ring.
I was a big Droz fan before he got injured.
I like Chief Morley in the ring a lot more than WWE does apparently, since he barely wrestles anymore on RAW(I know, he has the last couple of weeks, but how long was he out before that?)

Spike Dudley- I'm a sucker for the gimmick. Really like the guy
Steven Richards - While everyone else was screaming push Raven or D'lo I kept screaming, I want more Stevie! and now him with Victoria as best couple ever and I'm loving it
DDP- No one has mentioned him yet, I really like him and when he won the title I heard so many people say "Oh he's friends with Eric, that's the only reason". He always seemed like the type of guy who wasn't born with great athleticism but is really a hard worker. Sure his face looks like a catchers mitt, but he pulled a good match out of Goldberg and was able to be carried to a bunch of good U.S title matches with Benoit and Raven... Plus he had the best line ever during the Russo "It's a shoot era" after insulting Buff Page said "Now that's a shoot!". Still don't know why I found that to be the funniest thing ever.

I agree. I bought it a while back but didn't end up watching it until one night I was drunk and thought it'd be a kick. It made me sick. Literally.

Stephanie: SHe'd been briefly mentioned before, but Steph will always be my favorite woman on the roster and one of my favorite performers period. I think she's very beautiful, she's never annoyed me. My only complaint is I think she's better as a heel.
Meng: I dunno why, I just loved the big goof.
Probably the worst, however, is Buff Bagwell. I know, I know...but to me, he's got this great charisma, a good look, can work (if motivated, although that hasn't been in a while), and just seems like he's having fun. | miknight
