It's always fun when some stranger comes up and does the "too sweet" hand thing, especially when I'm with friends who have no idea what's going on.
The one t-shirt that I wish I had bought was the old WCW "Monday Night Jericho" shirt. Those were cool. | Doc_whiskey

I must own around 5 or 6 nWo shirts, and I'd often wear them under open-faced fancy shiny shirts. Or in the summertime, they're under my leather jacket when I'm on my bike...which back in '98, had the nWo Hollywood logo on the side of the seat. (My leather jacket has a small nWo patch below the back collar, too.)

The reason why that and shirts like "Cheat 2 Win" and "SUBMIT" work is because they also work outside a wrestling context. I mean, who wouldn't want to wear a cheerfully colored shirt that declares that they are EVIL in helpful block letters? Every time I wear it to an anime con invariably I'll get a few people calling out "INDEED!" as I cruise by, proving the gimmick is not dead, either.
Problem is, finding shirts like that AT an event is hard; every single WWE event I went to I'd ask for the EVIL shirt and they never had it, but had plenty with the Rock's latest silly catchphrase on it. I had to go to shopzone for one instead. I did manage to get a glossy pic of 2 Cool w/Rikishi at an event once, one week before they broke up, which is kind of sweet. | du365

It says "Gotch-ism" on the front, and "Snake pit" on the back. pretty cool, and garanteed to start a conversation with fans of Japanese wrestling or wrestling history buffs who know who Karl Gotch is. | Guru Zim

I've never worn the Jericho hockey jersey in public. It has a permanent place hanging on the back of my door.
I wear my Rey Misterio shirt in regular rotation.
I have never worn my Goldberg shirt out in public (it was a promo from work).
I have worn my Syxx N.W.O. shirt to McDonalds once, and then put it in the trunk with all of my wrestling figures and PPV tapes.
I wore my L.W.O shirt to the Smackdown taping here in San Diego this year, and after the reactions... I decided I should probably not wear it again. | geemoney

I frankly don't care what people think of me watching wrestling, so I'm perfectly comfortable wearing them in public. |
