Wonder where he'll go now. At a guess I'd say the Ravens and the Bears might be willing to take a chance on. The Bears in particular need a kick up the ass on Offense and could probably be convinced he'd be worth the money.
Can't imagine the Dolphins could afford him, or indeed be that keen on him.
Just shows the different attitudes of some players. Detmer came in last season to an Offense that relied heavily on a star QB and looked pretty damn good as a starter till he got injured. Still, he happily signs a new four year deal knowing fine he's gonna be behind McNabb in the pecking order.
Kordell plays like shit, gets dropped, spits his dummy out, comes back in when Maddox gets injured, looks only marginally less cack, and then wants a move cos "I'm a starter in this league". Course you are Kordell. Maybe see you at the Superbowl. ;)

If he hooks up with a good offensive mind I think he can be a Hall of Fame QB. Hes only 30 and hes healthy. Im pulling for him. And I can never root against the guy who threw the greatest Hail Mary pass Ive ever senn while he was in college.
And the rejoicing will stop in Pittsburgh when they realize that they are banking the future of the team on Tommy Maddox. Kordell will have the last laugh. But they do have Randle-El.... | spf

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
This would be a trainwreck of epic proportions. Kordell in John Shoop's offense could be the worst possible idea ever. A run and gun QB of mediocre skills in a dink and dunk offense with no tackles or real RB. They might go the entire year without a point if that happens. | Sec19Row53

Fiedlers still your starter in Miami though, and if they Kordell to replace him then they'll be looking at revamping their offence which they dont really need to do.
Kordell did say though he's gonna go to a team that's got a chance of winning him a championship. Of those listed I would fancy that means a healthy Chicago, Miami, or possibly the Ravens.
But then Kordy probably thinks he could make the Bungles Superbowl contenders so maybe I shouldn't read too much into that. | deac714

When they take the reins off of the O in Pittsburgh, then he could do his thing. The way the O is now, calls for a stand-in-pocket kind of guy like Tommy Maddox. I hope Kordell goes somewhere that plays the Steelers next season and he rips them a new one.

With a new coach, an two good WR (Warrick and Johnson) and Dillon in the backfield, he will open up the offense and score more points. I don't know if that means wins, but at least they will be compatitive. | Whitebacon

He was a good player when they had him catch passes, throw a few, on trick plays when people didnt expect him to, and when he was scrambling. But, that crap wears thin after a while, and what do you have left? A overpaid QB with no pocket precense and questionable judgement in regards to throwing the ball away! LOSER! Have fun backing up Kitna in Cinci! | The King of Keith
