| #1 Posted on 27.2.03 0836.52 Reposted on: 27.2.10 0846.54 | Well, call it complete, mindless boredom since work was closed early due to the oncoming snowstorm (that never arrived), but I decided to submit and order the TNA ppv last evening.
Why, God, why?
This is all strictly my opinion, but this was not good. It actually made me MISS Nitro in a big way, and I suffered through some pretty bad Nitros (Ric Flair's beatdown in the desert, Mysterio's giant killer push pitting him against Scott Norton, all of the New Blood).
The production values were not good, a great deal of wrestlers were out of shape (and I'm not even talking about Dusty or Vader here), and with the exception of Dusty Rhodes, I have to say those were some of the Worst. Promos. Ever.
I had such high hopes that this would turn into some real competition for the WWE... but I have to throw in my dissenting voice here and say they're not there yet. Promote this thread! | | sentonBOMB

Agreed. But still, I have seen it a couple of times and it has been as entertaining as the WWE. Now, trying to determine if that is a compliment or an insult is the kicker! | asteroidboy

Everything's just soooo tedious and two hours is a long time without commercial breaks and the continuous replays that the WWE has conditioned me to. | AlaaAbdelnaby

BTW, the NWA-TNA is getting a big advertisement in an upcoming movie. I believe it's called Head of State starring Chris Rock. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
