Another strong episode.

We get a great look at the Michael/Dwight relationship close up. And we get a slightly different look at the Pam/Jim dynamic.

Plus, office Olympics are neat.

I thought last week's episode was head-and-shoulders above this weeks, but it's not to say this week didn't have its moments. I'm laughing every time the character of Kevin is on the screen, and I don't know why. I also liked Michael trying to back out of the deal.

I agree that it was a step back from the first two episodes, though not without its moments, especially Butch Cassidy & Mozart. Plus Steve Carell doing scenes with his wife brings back warm memories of We Love Showbiz.

Given recent events, I *finally* was able to catch a bit of the show. So, not having seen the previous eps this season, I have to say that this one had me laughing out loud at two points - the last-minute backing out, and the "closing ceremonies". When the paper doves came along the back of Jim, Michael, and Dwight, that was just priceless.

Very good episode!

Not as good as last week's, but still probably the funniest sitcome on TV.

I just take solace in the fact that I know there isn't anyone in my office I couldn't take in Finnish Box Racing.

Funniest line of the night (that no one else has alluded to yet) was Michael arguing with Dwight about beet-farming. "No one likes beets...you should grow CANDY!!"

I liked how someone ELSE on the office noticed the chemistry between Pam and Jim...and how that made Pam equally aware of it.

Seconday props go to Pam and Jim for their "commentary" during the finnish foot game.

I love this show; and the addition of a laugh track would KILL the mood and the fun of the program. Thank goodness there isn't one.

I don't think it's in the league of Arrested Development, which sits in a class by itself as a magical gift from God Himself, but it says something about just how good The Office has gotten that I'm liking it even more than I do Ricky Gervais' Extras and this season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Both of which are very good but, surprisingly, not The U.S. Office good. The big four have done such a good job of carving out their own niches as these new(ish) characters that I don't even think of them as American Tim, American Gareth, etc. It's just like oh hooray it's Pam! And Fat Halpert.

Jim: "Because you bought a condo in America".

I may go buy some yogurt today and give my wife a gold medal with the lid--(or bronze, which are really blue)
