WWE, Tajiri reach agreement on release
December 8, 2005
WWE and Tajiri have reached an agreement on his release. Monday Night RAW in Boston on Dec. 12, 2005, will be Tajiri’s final appearance. Tajiri has decided to go back to his native Japan to work on writing a book. In addition, Tajiri plans to write news columns upon his return. WWE wishes Tajiri the best in all his future endeavors.

Really (and unfortunately), his time was done in the WWE a long time ago, but hopefully off-time is good to him. With any luck he'll get one last match (at least for Heat) before he's gone.

[sigh...] There goes my reason to watch RAW. Or Heat for that matter. Good luck to him, no matter where he ends up in life. He will be missed; especially by me. (Nothing like waking up and finding out your favorite wrestler is quitting. If that is a sign of how your day is going to go, I don't know what is. I think I'll go back to bed before, say, a tree falls on me or something.)
Book writing, Hmm...? I read that, and it kinda begs the question of what he possibly would be writing about. Hopefully, he doesn't burn any bridges. I don't see him doing that though. If he decides to wrestle again, and IF it is for a company in the US, I see him back in the WWE again.
p.s. Did the WWE ever put out a Japanese language biography of him? If so, has any of you W's ever read it? Thanks!

He's not huge, but he's bigger than most of the Japanese guys they've had and still pulls off some awesome cruiserweight moves. People got behind him, the mist is unique as far as your average WWF fan goes...
I think he's the only Japanese they could've credibly turned into the world champion. Sadly his pushes ran hot and cold, though you'll notice as soon as he came to Raw he was credibly in the main events.
He never recovered from Kane no selling the mist though...
And TNA has enough of a logjam with only an hour of TV.
