I loved that he stayed involved in hockey after retiring, giving back to a sport that gave him so much.

The team traded him to Anaheim, which was geographically the furthest place from Toronto in the NHL, which caused him to retire.
You have to admire someone who puts his family above his career like that. Hope the GM or owner who made that decision feels plenty guilty now. | odessasteps
