Overall rating for RAW on 7.14 was 3.8. I guess the Kane/Austin confrontation at the end of RAW on 7.7 didn't carry over the audience into the next week. The main disappointment though is that the WWF/E was unable to get back to back above 4 ratings, leaving them at accomplishing that feat once in the past year plus. Home Run Derby probably siphoned off some of the audience; however, what will happen when they are faced with Monday Night Football for 17 weeks beginning in less than 2 months? But just remember, RAW ratings would be climbing from the 3.9 level after the end of the war. That's what the head of TNN said over 2 months ago. Is it safe to say now that he was incorrect?

Could be the WCW-like levels of filler that are killing the viewers.....in a show that included a 6 man elimination tag match which seemingly took up much of an hour, was it really necessary to repeat the SAME flashback sequence twice?

Yes. This will ensure fairness and improve their shows.
I wouldn't read much into this week's rating. I think that, maybe, the stuff from last week held viewers going into this week. A 3.8 is still high for RAW these days. Remember, RAW's real average without returning superstars is more like a 3.5.

Yep, he was incorrect. Be sure to mention it every week ratings are less than 3.9 though.

I don't think the 3.8 (Hours 3.7,4.0) is that bad. Last week had a 4.2 but the week before that had a 3.6... The show did seem like a pretty filler show setting up for next week. Last weeks show was much better this week the second hour kind of dragged at times & seemed rushed at others.
Sunday Night HHHeat went up 0.1 over last week. TAKE THAT Rosey & Rodney vs. Dudleyz of last week LoL... Doing some research the highest rated Heat of the year was on May 11 with the main event of Jericho vs. Hurricane which did a 1.3
