Ok, I'll get this one started.

There's an OPENING RECAP? They're really borrowing TNA ideas now?

Miz walks out on Team Punk, because............yeah. He's later replaced by Wade Barrett.

Opening six-man between Car Sterio and Truth vs. The Prime Time Losers and Antonio Cesaro was ok. Match ends when the Prime Time Losers lose. Yup.

Here's another absolutely inane segment with Cena, Vickie, Dolph, and AJ. I'm not going to beat a dead horse here, but I really don't get what the point of this is supposed to be.

Cody Rhodes beats Daniel Bryan clean in less than two minutes. WHAT??? I lost a handful of IQ points watching that 10+ minute abomination with Cena, Vickie, Dolph, and AJ and this match gets LESS THAN TWO MINUTES??? What the hell???

Also, Kane beat Damien Sandow. Even Steven booking, baby!

Evil Referee Brad Maddox explains his actions. He signed a developmental deal, but was disgruntled, so he became a referee and picked the right time to make himself famous. That's certainly not a terrible explanation. Vince McMahon comes out and does his best Donald Trump impression, offering $1 million and a WWE contract if Maddox beats Ryback next week. I don't know about anybody else here, but Maddox's promo was PAAAAINFUL!

Then the REAL fun starts! Vince brings out Vickie and proceeds to book the Survivor Series main event: CM Punk defending the title against Ryback and John Cena in a Triple Threat match. And that renders everything that's happened so far tonight and everything that happened last week with Cena, Vickie, Dolph, AJ, Punk, and Foley...wait for it...COMPLETELY POINTLESS!!!

I really don't understand what happened here. It's like Vince suddenly called an audible in mid-show and hit the Reset button on live (well...taped) TV. Why waste everybody's time with the last week and a half like this? What was so wrong with the card they had?

And yet, if this is Vince's way of pulling the plug on that godawful Cena/Vickie/Dolph/AJ angle, I'm all for it. I get the feeling we're not that lucky, though.

Then there's the rest of the show. Wade Barrett gets a hometown win over Brodus, Team CoBro beat Team Puerto Rican, Kofi beat ADR after that silly distraction finish everyone hates, Heath Slater beat Jey Uso, and the main event saw Cena and Ryback beat Punk and Ziggler after a LOOOOOOOOOOONG heat segment on Cena.

I was so jarred by what happened with Vince and the card shakeup (which now turns Team Punk into Team Ziggler and leaves Team Foley a man short, 'natch) that I really couldn't focus on the rest of the show...as much as I focused on the football game.

So yeah, that's all I got.

Oh, also there's a new wrestler coming named FANDANGOO, which is apparently Johnny Curtis in Loser Gimmick #2!

That...is real. Yup, that sure exists, alright.

Take us home, "Big Pimpin" Curt Hawkins!

Is 'Fandango' trademarked by someone or something? Since 'Fandangoo' with the extra O just sounds and looks stupid. Not that this gimmick's name is going to be the thing that holds it back, of course.

The WWE is not very high on Miz anymore are they? At least he's being used on ABC family shows.

So we had a nice Survivor Series match coming up with Foley's team vs, Punk's team last week and now Cena is a little better so Vince goes back to the original triple threat with Punk/Cena/Ryback because "Fuck you I'm Vince"? This is why people despise Cena so much. Nobody likes a protected company boy.

What was wrong with perverted, goldust-touchy, guy with a fuck-van and an office in the public bathroom, Johnny "Durty Curty" Curtis? I loved that guy! Why does this company always take away what I love?

That recap opening with the voice over and tabloid tv like expose ruined the show for me. I just couldn't take anything seriously after that.

I did kinda like Punk's over the top heel acting when he was complaining to Vicki in the back. Not so sure I like this Punk heel though. Part of seemed to be intentionally tongue and cheek in his part though. The crowd chant for Punk was ridiculously loud. This is the heel change that the world won't let happen.

This was not a very good episode. The wrestling was disappointing, "Indie Hair" Brad Maddox was fucking awful on the mic, and none of the booking made any sense.

This is really the only explanation I can think of, because it countermands booking they were doing as little as 20 minutes before this announcement. Nothing he trotted out sounds better than what they already had, and it really screws Dolph, whose program with Cena promised a pretty good match even if the stuff surrounding it wasn't very interesting. And didn't Foley want to settle a score with Punk, anyway? How does he feel about this? Now, all we have is a boring retread main event and a low-stakes Survivor Series match.

I was not a fan of Team Punk vs. Team Foley mainly for the people involved, the idea had merit though its just no Lesnar or Rock kills it. I guess now, maybe they will throw Rock into Team Foley, because..yeah. I have no desire to see Cena for the third or fourth or tenth time try to get the belt from Punk and end with screwy finish. I truly believe they have no idea what they are doing right now and the rumors about Cena going off on Vince may have lead to this. Maybe.

Yes, it is absurd they just imploded the Foley/Punk idea to put Cena in Another Title Match In The Main Event. Shades of when the Bragging Rights team for SD! was completely replaced a few years back...though not *that* bad.

At least Vickie was entertaining in her role all night, especially when paired with Vince...have those two ever really interacted much on TV?

Probably by the movie ticket presale website Fandango, but still...don't we already have a dancing guy gimmick right now??

And yet we wait for Kassius Ohno, Tyler Black and Dean Ambrose to rear their heads... but we do have Snappy Dresser Brad Maddox! (Which is the gist of what was being said on the Twitters...along with folks joking that Fandangoo IS Ambrose.)

Why take Bryan, one of their hottest acts whether they like it or not, and job him out in 2 minutes to a guy who didn’t even get an entrance, and hasn’t had a significant win outside of a tag match in ages? I like Cody, but that’s another rant for another time. Then they immediately job Sandow in a squash to Kane, to kill the momentum of another potential hot act. To me, those two segments summed up my problems with WWE in a nutshell.

They seem totally uninterested or incapable of building a solid mid-card. They don't all have to be main eventers, but that doesn't mean everyone outside of the main event has to be losers.

3MB continues to entertain, but why should I trust them not to go the Brodus Clay (jobber) route with them within a few weeks?

I will say that Santino yelling "I will get you for that!" when Primo (or Epico) mocked his trombone celebration was old school awesome.

As always with these things the show was much better in person than it was on TV. Unlike the last time I attended a TV taping in 2005 though, the crowd reaction was left intact, the show was "as live" as it could possibly have been. I'm thankful for that. Crowd was amazing most of the night. Jinder should have thanked us, because that's the biggest reaction he'll get for some time. 3MB got a chant when they appeared on Superstars as well. It's just fun to chant "3MB" and I hope it becomes a thing.

The reaction to Daniel Bryan was insane, then he got pinned by Rhodes in two minutes. That and little Orton and no live AJ were the only real disappointments. Crowd looked to be a legit sellout. I was sat halfway between the entrance and the ring. Great seats with an incredible view, very lucky. The pyro legit made me jump out of my seat a few times, it was so loud. Vince's appearance was a very welcome surprise since nothing of significance usually happens when they tape Raw over here. The bit with Vickie almost seemed like it was something off camera for our benefit, it felt surreal, like Vince was joking around with Vickie for his amusement.

It's so strange seeing all the little things you don't see on TV like cameramen actually directing the wrestlers, most notably Santino and Ryder as to where to be standing for the shot when they come back from commercial.

After RAW went off the air Cena and Ryback continued their little face off, with Cena getting booed and Ryback doing his "feed me more" thing in turn. Then Team Ziggler came out for some reason, which segued into Wade Barrett giving a nice speech, thanking the crowd which was continuing to give him a lot of love.

I'm only going on the various recaps that I have seen, because I don't watch it live now that I'm in Germany. So forgive me if this is out of line, but are we all just waiting for VKM to die so that HHH can take over creative? He had a great idea with the tag devision and it's going very well. I think that he understands the importance of a strong midcard to create new stars where VKM does not. I might be way off base, but we have had the same problems and frustrations with WWE(F) for at least the past seven years. It is pretty obvious by now that VKM does not know how to write television and the people that he has hired to write television don't know much more than he does.

I am tired of the product. I am still 'all-in" on Punk, but I sincerely doubt that his success is because of VKM. I feel that it's more because of people around him telling him what to do. And then he gets lost in his head and realizes that his is VINCE and what he says, goes. So we have what we had last night. Punk should not be the heel. I get that he likes playing that role and that he's masterful at it. But the response he gets around the world compared to Cena is a fucking joke. Because Punk is real, Cena is Wonder Bread.

I know this is everything that everyone here knows already, but why the fuck can't the company figure this out??? I'm so disenchanted with the whole thing that I'm back to buying tow PPV's per year: Rumble and Mania. I get what I need from recaps because watching the actual show for three hours, six hours later than what I'm used to, just is not worth it.

How does everyone else feel?

They think WrestleMania alone got Bryan over, and they want to continue that defeat to keep him popular.

I think it's as simple as, they realized in a panic that they'd booked a very weak PPV main event and just ... undid it. But that doesn't explain the hour 1 angles around the drama of Paul Heyman's choices for a team he was about to have nothing to do with. So awkward. Maybe Mayhem is onto something and Miz is turning babyface after an invocation from his book buddy Foley.

FANDANGOO!!!!!! I'd rather have "Weird" Johnny Curtis in all his glory, but Fandangoo dancing to the 3 Man Band is a dream of a dreams.

Brad Maddox getting a million dollar contract by beating Ryback by DQ when Punk comes in and hits Maddox would be huge easy heat for a long time, but Ryback will just kill him because putting heat on heels is for hot coals.

I'll admit the original Survivor Series main event looked weak, if not different and entertaining, for the simple fact Daniel Bryan would've soaked up all the fan reaction. One of the things WWE fans chant more than 'feed me more' is 'YES'.

On that note, I hope when all is said and done it's revealed that D-Bry was the one who had the relations with AJ and he goes on a huge singles tear as the top face in the company. That's neither here nor there though.

So, Linda didn't win the Senate seat. Any thoughts on how many times we'll hear 'ass' next week?

I don't think Ryback's new "FEED ME ASS" chant is going to work out very well.
