Bill Parcells is a football God. He brought the Patroits back from the dead then the other NY team the JETS. If Bill Parcells was hired by the Afagans we would be fighting a whole new war. So what can't he do. He is a coaching God unmatched.
According to ESPN Dungy is gone unless he wins it all. Good for Bucs fans, good for fans wherever Dungy lands and good for football.

Can anyone match this man's coaching genius? I think not. Parcells=wins baby!

I think the higher ups in Tampa Bay should all be ashamed of themselves. How fucking SHITTY is it to publicly threaten your coach? Assholes.

Exactly, 210. I agree that Parcells would be a great coach, but to threaten Dungy with his job (publicly OR privately) is just wrong. Not only is he responsible for the most successful era in team history, he also brought class and credibility to a franchise that was previously a joke. He doesn't deserve to be fired, and he especially doesn't deserve to be "called out" in front of the world.

I'd love to see Dungy win this game, go to St. Louis and beat the Rams again, keep the Bucs close til the last second in the NFC title game against the Bears, and then resign while flipping off the whole damn Glazer family. He deserves better than this, and ought to tell them to shove Parcells and all their ultimatums up their collective ass.

There, I feel better now.

Well, the Eagles have a 15-point lead going into the fourth quarter - and Brad Johnson is no Brett Favre. So it looks like the Glazers' hand may be forced (if the story is true).

4 interceptions. I am so pissed right now...

Dungy in Tampa: 5 seasons, 4 playoff appearances, 3 offensive coordinaters, 2 playoff victories, 1 division title, 0 confidence from management. He doesn't deserve it, plain and simple, when you consider the Bucs history before he came on board.

It's like the 12 days of absolutely horrible Xmas. Quite a fruitcake of a gift for the Bucs fan I guess. But then Brad Johnson is basically a gag gift from the start.

ESPN.com is now saying Dungy will be gone within 48 hours, and Parcells will be in by the end of the week.

Dungy, poor guy, is taking the "I haven't been told yet, so I am still preparing this team for next year" stance. This is just a shame to see him leave like this. Like Dan Marino leaving Miami after a 62-7 loss to Jacksonville...

I feel what all of you are saying, but they lost again and looked horrible doing it. The team can say Tony doesn't deserve it all they want, but the team underachieved all season. I am a Buc fan and I am totally frustrated. All that talent and nothing to show for it. You knew something had to give. The Buc defense is not good enough to make up for that offense.

Now the Parcells thing was bad. From what I have read, Bill wanted the job last year and they held off until this year. It is terrible to have that hanging over your head all season as a coach. But with that over their heads' the players still didn't put 100% effort to save their coach's ass. We'll see what happens next year.

Well, as of an hour or so ago, Dungy is officially gone. I hope he does well whereever he goes, as I'm sure he'll get another job elsewhere. I'm excited about Parcells coming in, but I still think Dungy should have kept his job, and it's a shame to see him go.

Parcell is a great coach, but man, the Bucs players have been playing the senators in the Julius Casear play that is Tampa Bay. I love how Keyshawn was hyping his "Coach" and how people need to stop talking and play. Well, Key, that goes for you too. When Parcells does get there and sees the mess that is the Bucs offense, I'm sure the fingers will point to Brad, rightfully so, but the next finger should point to Keyshawn. Its great you have all those yards, but points count more.

I think there will be some house cleaning, but I would not surprise me to see the some of the Bucs players jump ship to where every Dungey goes hopefully Carolina. The Bucs management has been less than fair with Dungey and the players, so payback maybe a bitch in a few monthes, when all that is left is Brad, Warren and Keyshawn.

A Fan- I hope they do something with Dungey in the NFL or it might as well be the all white head coach league.

Keyshawn's lack of TDs isn't his fault. It's the teams lack of aggresive plays in the red zone. Keyshawn rarely runs his mouth (at least this year he's been relatively quiet. We all know about his past), and has been the one consistent threat on the team.

I agree Bucs. Key (At least for me) has gained a lot of repect this year. He cathes (No pun intended) WAY too much critizism for the TD stat. You dont make over a hunndred receptions by being a bad reciever.

Im still mad they fired Dungy.

Winning a little is just not enough anymore...

2 coaches that did not deserve firing are gone.

Dungy - He will land on his feet, and wherever it is, he will eventually come back and beat the Bucs. Like to see him in Indy with that team. Hire a good Def Coordinator and coaches and that team goes a long way.

Schottenheimer - I really do not like him, but talk about being shafted. To make that team 8-8 is incredible. They looked well on their way to 0-16 early in the year. All I can say is good luck winning Spurrier with Tony Banks as your QB. (ha, ha, ha)
