Yes, I'm the one that asked last week if anyone saw the point of Flair going over Hurricane cleanly. The answer: They were obviously setting up for this week's main event.

Part of my reason for disagreeing with the match result last week was because I wished they had saved the Flair win for those of us long time wrestling fans that have seen Flair wrestle for so long in South Carolina. But, even though Flair lost, it was very cool of the WWE to give us ONE MORE Ric Flair World Heavyweight Championship match. It was a great treat for those of us that used to watch Flair defend that NWA World Heavyweight Championship almost every Monday night at the old Greenville Memorial Auditorium. The WWE was rewarded with a VERY HOT pro Ric Flair crowd.

They even let Flair hit the move off the top rope. Now, I know what he was trying to hit all these years when he was getting caught and thrown off. ;-)

That match actually had my jaded ass forgetting about the whole Nash feud thingy, and believing Flair could win the Big Gold Belt one more time.

That would have been all kinds of awesome...even for an old nWo mark like myself.

I guess the question now is, what happens with Flair? Does he go back to HHH next week or is he on his own now? I can't imagine there would be a lot for him to do right now as a face (at least that we haven't seen before), short of him showing up on SmackDown, so I guess its back to TripLand for Naitch. Hopefully, at least they'll do some kind of swerve teasing that Flair may NOT return to HHH's side, as opposed to just forgetting that RAW happened.

I totally enjoyed the match, but the ending was kind of weak. Maybe it is the Pedigree that I don't like or something, but after a grueling match, the Pedigree just seems so out of place. It takes so long to set up and kind of is an abrupt ending to the match. Maybe a small package or something like that should have ended that match. I mean, in this match, everything was going fast and furious and then a kick to the gut totally stops Flair? I know this is nit picky and I loved the match, but just that ending was kind of out of place.

For Flair, there is no way he can go back to HHH. I am thinking they will put him with Nash and then have him turn on Nash at the PPV to give HHH the win.

How cool would it have been to see Flair hit the Naturegree on Trips?

I always mark for other wrestlers hitting that move.

I thought that there was no point in Flair pinning the Hurricane last week, but I was totally wrong. But now that this match has happened, what is left for Flair?

Your damned right there was no reason for Hurricane to be going over last week, and as far as I'm concerned, there was no reason for Flair to lose in that particular fasion last night either.

I'm disgusted with the ending, and I'm still very disgusted with the fact that many of you thought that Hurricane should have gone over Flair. Hurricane is not a main eventer, and he never will even be close. Flair, on the other hand, should still be a main eventer. At least, if Hogan still is, there's no reason Flair should not.

I'm a big HHH fan (yes we do exist, even on the internet) and I HATE the pedigree for three reasons. One, the damned move takes way too long to set up. Two, it is reversed ALL THE DAMNED TIME! Did this used to happen, I certainly don't remember it being reversed once a match like it is today. Gosh I hate that. And third, nobody has taken a pedigree correctly in recent memory. Why is everybody using their knees to break the fall? The person taking the pedigree is supposed to throw his legs out and just fall. The Hurricane of all wrestlers is the last I remember (I think) to take it right. It looks dumb when the person's knee's break their fall.

What's next for Flair? Has no one been paying attention to Triple H for the past 3 years? Flair is going to go groveling back to Triple H, begging him to be back at his side because Triple H is the greatest wrestler alive. Triple H is the World Champion, the best in the business, the man, the game, etc, etc, etc and Flair wasn't good enough.
