TNA wrestling recently announced the new special DVD's they are going to release on their website.

http://www.tnawrestling.com/fullnews.php?home=604

Upcoming TNA Home Video DVD releases include the following:

Unstoppable: The Best of Samoa Joe – Release date of June 6
Lockdown 2006 – Release date of August 8
TNA Knockouts – Release date of August 29
Best of the X Division Volume 2 – Release date of October 31

    Coming end of 2006 / Early 2007:
    TNA’s 50 Greatest Moments
    Best of Sting
    Best of Christian Cage

The “Unbreakable 2005” and “Sacrifice 2005” DVDs are being printed this week by our distribution company. They will both go on sale on the website as soon as we receive shipment in a week or two. TNA apologizes for the delay to our many fans that have been eagerly awaiting these releases.

I really don't mind a Samoa Joe DVD from TNA, but because it's being released so quickly, it's missing out on a lot of quality matches like Joe vs. Daniels from Impact. And probably Sabu/Joe from Lockdown. There are quite a few matches that I don't think even should be on there like Joe/Liger.

A Sting DVD, ok. The problem is, Sting, who has one of the greatest and most prolific wrestling careers of all time, well WWE basically owns that entire library of Sting's career. Just like Bret Hart.

So what can TNA use other than their own material? Since Sting's had quite a few matches in New Japan, is it possible some of those matches could be used? Even if he was there as a WCW guy?

I'd just be saddened if we could never get a quality DVD for Sting like Bret's DVD because he is now a TNA guy.

Hmm, yeah, and along the same lines, any true Best of Christian Cage DVD, in a perfect world, would have to have some TLC matches and maybe a couple of his Intercontinental Title matches against Edge. Obviously that ain't happening with the TNA DVD release, either.
