You can find all the big news from E3 here, but here's a recap of the big stuff.

-A new Xbox 360 Slim model is heading to stores. It'll be here sooner than you think and it's available for pre-order right now. It boasts a new internal 250GB hard drive, is Kinect-ready (meaning you can power Kinect from the console, instead of a separate power outlet), comes with built-in Wi-Fi, and runs more quietly thanks to a smaller power supply.

-Project Natal is now officially Kinect! Several Kinect titles have been announced (including a Sonic racing title and "Dance Central" from MTV Games) and you'll also be able to use Kinect to browse your dashboard. The rumored price of $150 will sting, though.

-ESPN will be integrated into Xbox LIVE and Gold members will be able to access video clips and ESPN3.com footage for no additional charge, which will include live games from the NCAA, MLB, and NBA. Xbox 360 users will also be able to particpate in polls, trivia, and other fun stuff while streaming.

-Games shown off include Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3, Fable III, and Metal Gear Solid RISING.

-And a minor, but MUCH APPRECIATED, feature: Netflix users will finally be able to search and add movies to their queue from their Xbox 360's.

More announcements to come, but this is the cream of the crop for now.

This is the biggest news for me, as Time Warner has refused to do a deal with ESPN for 360 and now 3 so I haven't been able to watch games on there without the help of a friend. I wonder if I'll be able to use my Xbox Live login and link it to my ESPN login to watch on my computer as well? Probably asking too much there, but I pay for Live and for ESPN, you'd think they would let me watch ESPN3 by now.

Even though I have an XBox 360 already, I might just get the Slim version for the built-in Wi-Fi (because it's been a pain in the ass trying to hook up to XBox Live) and the larger hard drive. We'll see. Anyone know how to transfer saves from one 360 console to another?

You can order a hard drive transfer kit directly from Microsoft, but I believe they're also going to be available in stores when the new 360 hits. I think they run about $20. I have done it when I upgraded from a 60 GB hard drive to a 250 GB (which came with its own transfer kit), and it was super easy. Took a long-ish time to actually transfer things, but once I set it up, it did all the work and I had no problems at all.

Now, if you're transferring a relatively small amount of data, you might be able to do that via USB key - I haven't tried.
