| #1 Posted on 17.11.02 2257.16 Reposted on: 17.11.09 2259.12 | With all the talk of Shawn Michaels not being able to defend the title with a regular schedule, maybe Shawn won't have to defend the title. Shawn might just give up the title on Raw Monday night. He could explain that he just can't wrestle a regular schedule like he used to. He could explain that he accomplished what he really wanted to do, which was taking the title away from HHH.
That would allow them to have a tournament to determine the Raw champion which would allow a new start for the Championship and have someone actually earn the belt to make up for their previous mistake of just handing the Championship to someone.
Or, they could just do an injury angle in which HHH attacks and injures Michaels to the point that he can't defend the title, which leads to a tournament also. That would also set up another HHH vs. Shawn Michaels at another PPV in the future. | Promote this thread! | | DarrylTheHitman

HBK screws HHH out of his win and Booker faces Jericho in the finals. I'd personally hope Y2J won but if not, then we could see the dawning of the age of Aquarius...er the age of Booker. | THEMIXXER

Wrestled 2 matches in the last 5 years, he can't wrestle full-time, what's the point? Nostalgia? Didn't the WWE learn anything from Hogan? Now, the only way this CAN go is for the title to go BACK to HHH(UGGGGH!)...

He probably should have retired for good after WM14, considering his back. He's coming back, and guess what... people actually care. And you're complaining because he came back and wrestled a couple of matches, in the process winning a title no one expects him to hold? I suppose he's supposed to magically revert to 1995 form now that he's got the strap. Sheesh. | Excalibur05

You know this is the only way things CAN go, because you've seen the WWE's booking charts?
You've talked to Vince McMahon?
You've called Miss Cleo?
You're making stuff up so that you can be disgusted by a title change?
The only way this CAN go is however they DECIDE for this to go. And unless you're psychic, or are privy to the booking meetings, you don't know how this is going to go. Don't pretend like you do. Watch like the rest of us, and maybe, just maybe, we'll find out what actually happens. | Simba

Yeah, that whopping 3.1 shows it. Shawn was more over as the commish than anything he's done this year...and still, heat isn't enough to justify things, that Hogan thing worked out real well, huh? | redsoxnation

| #14 Posted on 18.11.02 1930.25 Reposted on: 18.11.09 1931.24 | Let's face it, nothing good can come of this situation.
After the Elimination Chamber, there's only two people credible enough on Raw to take the title away from Michaels... HHH and Steiner.
RVD: RVD was first out, and after legitimately injuring HHH, won't be seeing the main event for quite a while.
Booker T: Eliminated by Chris Jericho before all participants were in the match. Does NOTHING to help his position.
Kane: Also eliminated by Jericho, who still isn't seen as a viable threat.
Chris Jericho: No amount of work can be done to make Jericho look like a viable threat at this point, and every time he goes over somebody, the result only weakens his opponent.
Others: Name one person really in the title chase. | cactuspete

Okay, so maybe enough people care to pull a 3.1. But NO ONE CARES if he drops the title without doing the jay-oh-bee. Okay, maybe you, but that's IT. I wasn't saying he was a draw, I was saying that at this point, complaining about him dropping the strap is pointless, petty, and annoying. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
