ESPN and other outlets reporting a tentative agreement to end the lockout is in place.

While I'm happy it looks like hockey will return, this dragged out far longer than it probably should have. That said, Go Pens.

Meh. Happy for the workers who rely on arena revenue, I guess. I wasn't missing hockey.

I love my Leafs, but I can't stand the NHL, Gary Bettman, or the NHLPA - I think I'll boycott this year.

Plus, once NASCAR starts in February, I don't bother with hockey.

As far as I'm concerned, hockey will restart in the fall.

The only impact I can have as a fan is to without my economic dollar and that's what I will do for this season.

No tickets.
No merch.
No Center Ice.

I was sort of enjoying the break, but with football winding down, I'm ready for the puck to drop.

Yeah, I am not a fan of basketball and baseball in the spring is fairly boring. If it gets me an extra few months of entertainment til football season then I am ok with it.

I am a diehard fan and while I hate Gary Bettman & the NHL owners, I am glad that hockey is back. Life is good again though I will admit that the super local train home after Rangers games really sucks.

The Penguins are having a deal for the first 4 home games of the season to kinda make it up to the fans.

1. Each fan entering the game gets a voucher for 3 free food/drink concession items.

2. All Pens merchandise sold at the arena is 50% off.

Just wondering if anyone else's team is doing something similar for their fans?
