I don't see how Hogan going out on top would be selfish OR hurtful to the business. Hogan's STIL got a lot of fans out there. There's something a lot more organic to the wrestling system than just what a DOS-based Wrestling Sim's ranking system might do (eg. Edge beats Hogan therefore Edge gets more points than he would by beating Crash Holly).
Having him get a big win (not necessarily getting the title, but for example beating McMahon) gives his fans a chance to cheer him again and generally feel GOOD about what they just saw. The way the WWE has been going lately, they should be counting their lucky stars that they have the CHANCE to have fans leave feeling good about what they just saw.

Tribal Prophet is right, Hogan still has a lot of fans who would pay $40 to see him clobber Vince once and for all.
The surprise of the match won't be the actual wrestling (minimal) or the outcome (Hogan in a blaze of glory), but how it is executed. How many run-ins will there be? After Hogan hulks-up, how many of Vince's goons will he destroy? How much will Hogan humiliate Vince when he finally defeats him?
I'm interested to see how grandiose they are going to make the finish to a rather epic battle.

I think this'll be a highlight on the card, I really do. Remember Vince Vs. Shane at X-7? It was possibly the most entertaining non-worker match ever. You KNOW they'll turn it up here, and hopefully deliver something similar. And I'll be perfectly happy to sit back and mark out for it.
