Solid episode, IMO.

-Who would have known that Ryan had a cousin named Mufasa?
-Nice to see Pam taking over the spontaneous Jim-type role in the office, totally bringing the bird funeral together.
-Jim is just plain Mr. Smooth.
-Poor Ed Truck...that was the guy that insisted Michael could never be friends with the people he worked with, right?
-"Guys! Get a broom and clean this up! Mush!"
-"I'm going down to the warehouse..."

Dwight absorbing his twin had me in stitches, as did Michael covering up the head of Ed Truck in the picture of them together.

The only thing I didn't like was Ed Helms-I thought he was misused in this episode, almost like he was the "Dwight" of the Stamford office. I like him more when he's borderline psychotic.

When he says that he has the strength of one adult man and one baby, I totally lost it. Man, I wish I had a Tivo for that.

EASILY the best episode so far this season.

I LOVED how the dead bird suddenly became "the bird that Toby killed".

Thanks Pam for spoiling "Million Dollar Baby" for me--though I kind of guessed that's what happened in it.
It's a little hard to imagine Michael with all his pop culture references not know "The Lion King" but it could happen.

I liked last night's episode, but at points, it was a bit too over the top for me.

We need more pictures of long-haired Michael. And did he have on a fanny-pack in that picture?

I loved the end when they are standing around the bird on fire and you can see Kelly clinging to Ryan and the pained look on Ryan's face. It is the little things like that that make this show so good.

"HIS CAPPA WAS DETATED FROM HIS HEAD!!"

I rewound that line three times and laughed just as hard each time.

I can't figure out if Jim actually likes Karen or just misses playing games with Pam.

Glad I did, 'cause when he intercepted the ball in the first place, I had to rewind that twice. Too damn funny!

"You *waited* for me?" and "I was *five*." were the lines of the night for me.

The only thing I didn't care for was the intro when Pam sent him back for cream and sugar. That almost seemed a little mean-spirited.

Yes I agree, very over the top and easily the worst episode this season.

Some parts were pretty over the top (going back for cream & sugar, Pam singing, maybe Dwight trying to stuff the dead bird into a soda can), but I thought this week's show was hilarious. The last 2 were good, but this one had more laugh out loud moments for me than those 2 combined.

I am starting to wonder what's taking Roy so long to start working on Pam. I guess he's trying, but he's taking forever.

Once again, Stanley = GANGSTA. And holy crap Kelly is annoying. It's kinda weird how much camera time Ryan gets even though he never gets to say much & isnt really a big part of very many episodes (if any).

Almost every episode (so far this season), Karen shows signs of liking Jim and dis-liking him too. Or maybe I suck at reading women.

B.J. Novak (Ryan) is a writer and supervising producer on the show.... Probably explains the amount of screen time.... that and the fact that Michael loves him...
